A Simple Plan

Before Spider-Man, Sam Raimi directed one the best movies about a harrowing tale on how greed and desperation can warp the human soul to due the unthinkable. This movie is a masterpiece and really tug at the heartstrings for me. It’s my first time seeing this movie and it’s phenomenal in all departments ranging from writing, direction, and acting. Bill Paxton and Billy Bob Thornton are simply amazing. I really believe they’re brothers. This might be the best work I’ve seen of Raimi(that includes Spider-Man 2). This movie shows you crime doesn’t pay, only people pay — that price being their happiness. Amazing film. 8.5/10.
