Oh, I need to rewatch this one. Does anyone remember the TV show with the same name/concept? Quite decent IIRC. But it's been a long time, nostalgia might fail me lol.
The one and only. I remember how devastated I was learning that he had passed away. It was just a few years after making a great Thin Lizzy departure live album, which was on the record player 24/7 at the time.
Lots of former band members interviewed here, but I'd loved if Gary Moore (a Lizzy band member in two separate periods) had been alive for this documentary. Brian Robertson is also strangely absent here for some reasons. I also always tend to forget that long time guitarist Scott Gorham actually is American (and what an awesome character he is. We all would like to have a drink whith him.).
Anyhows, a great documentary about one of the greatest song writer/singer/performer/front man ever. Imho (as a guitarist/bass player myself) also an underrated musician. Highly recommended.
