If you're going to wear out a VHS tape (or 2!) I can't think of a more worthy film!
Fantastic flick, always loved how it played out. Loved my sci-fi and action flicks as a kid. Hell, still do. I have 2 copies of it on DVD, too. One day I'll get a BD copy of it for the hell of it.

Watching Eaten Alive! (Mangiati Vivi!) for 31 Nights. First time watch. My friend swears by it and thinks I'll like it because I like Cannibal Holocaust ad Cannibal Ferox.

I haven't seen Eaten Alive! but I have a VHS of Cannibal Holocaust that I dig out and play now and then! Might have to give EA a go

It’s been a Netflix kind of days lately...

About as grisly as one would expect a Gareth Evans horror film to be. The Grinder is nightmare fuel.

9/10

Finally got around to two big ones on my list:

Hereditary: jaw-dropping. I can’t sing this movies praises enough, it lived up to the hype and then some. It just might have replaced the Witch as my favorite horror film.

Swiss Army Man: Funny, Strange, beautiful, poignant. There’s a lot to unpack here in regards to symbolism so I’m looking forward to a rewatch.

All in all a fantastic weekend at home thanks to A24. Thinking about changing my avatar to the their logo because I’m starting to fanboy hard on all of their movies.

Finished off my Blade Runner 'making of', last 3 chapters and then making my way through Harry Potter still, for first time round, (I know). Watched Goblet of Fire, may stretch to Year 5 later tonight, get them complete then FB's before the next one comes out in November.

Edit Update - Watched Order of the Phoenix tonight.

If you haven't seen Good Time, you should.

The Ritual

Watching it again and it still one of the best movies of 2018. It's up there with movies like Pumpkinhead and Wicker Man.
9.5/10

The Guest

Still one of my favorite movies of all time. Dan Stevens just kills it.

Between Worlds. So strange I am not sure if it is good or bad. Cage isn't bad here, and Potente and the rest of the cast are pretty good.

Miss Sloane (2016)
Valentine DayZ (2018)
Phantasm (1979)

Venom 8.5/10 does anyone know if there is a thread for the Venom movie itself?
