I've seen bits and pieces here or there, but never really seen it in full, till now. This is a goddamn work of art, I haven't seen this much care in a "C'' level type story ever. Patrick Swayze really gave a damn and he brought it, tight jeans and all. An instant classic. Sam Elliot always looked like one of them old dogs, even in this one. lol

Kelly Lynch and her wonderful pair of knockers, just beautiful. I will rewatch this sometime soon.

Also, folks talk about the snyder cut and whatnot, but the original cut of this is almost 4 hrs long and has never been seen publicly.

This is a late 80's classic as far as I'm concerned. You put it well in your comments that despite being a somewhat "C" level type of story or film it's better than you would expect. Also, Sam Elliot's flowing hair was glorious. hahahah

Attempted to see Singin’ in the Rain at a theater last night.

Was able to watch the whole film, but there were all kinds of technical difficulties which did kill the enjoyment a bit. The film has to be rebooted only 10 minutes in and even after that it would freeze at random moments

Well as far as Doom and Doom Annihilation go, I'd recommend both for the mindless entertainment value. Can't speak for Alex Garland tho.
