This moment from around 7 minutes into the movie expresses my reaction viewing it for the first time ever.

I'm still struggling to watch this movie, and I'm just half an hour in. Carter in the first movie was a somewhat reckless big mouth, but he sure wasn't a cringe inducing dumb fool, at least he was competent at what he does.

At least it still has cool action scenes that are signature Jackie Chan movie fights. Bamboo scaffolding fight is really awesome.
