Pop Star: Never Stop Not Stopping

Quite possibly The Lonely Island's greatest creation. Insane how many musicians they got to be in this despite them being very obviously the butts of a lot of the jokes. But yeah, it's a blast. Between this and Walk Hard, I think the secret to making a great music parody in the 21st Century is simply - Cast Tim Meadows.

Saw this yesterday at the cinema:

Affleck first time directing in seven years. Whereas I found his last directorial effort Live By Night to be disappointed, I found this to be a great return to form as a filmmaker. While I do think Affleck is a good actor, it’s becoming more apparent to me he’s a much better behind the cameras than he is in front of it. The direction is first rate, and the actors all bring their A-game to this project - Chris Tucker and Viola Davis especially steal the show. The writing is so sharp and witty and feels redolent of Terrio’s script for Argo(though this is not written by Terrio).

Three Bedrooms, One Corpse: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery (2016)

First one of these I've watched. Wasn't expecting much tbh, but I enjoyed it. Always nice to see Yannick ('Murdock') Bisson.
