Hi everyone,

There's a theory that whatever was big in people's childhood gets adapted about 30 years or so in the future, old enough so that the original fan base can take their kids to see movies out of nostalgia. So what do you think will be the biggest franchises?

I could see ben 10 being big. Even a proper avatar series. Plus all the same faves will still be their like Disney and avengers etc

The inevitable Harry Potter-reboot... :)

I could see anime adaptations becoming bigger if they start being good films. Harry Potter has potential to be realy big for a long time, but it might lose popularity if they make something as bad as Cursed Child canon.

I wonder about the likes of Naruto, One Piece and Bleach. If adapted well by a major studio, they could be huge by brand recognition alone. But besides Bleach, i realy don't know how they could be adapted properly to be honest.

There's also gonna be nostalgia for video game franchises. The first studio to crack the code on adapting popular games will be cracking a potentialy huge market.

Hopefully Witchblade and The Darkness along with a rebooted Spawn. Lesser known properties that have multi decade spanning comics can finally get some love.

I think it is way too early to tell.

The Saga of Emperor Trump

Episode 1: Nuclear Skyfire
Episode 2: Attack of the Mole People
Episode 3: The Canadian Invaders

Justice League will still not have made $500 million by then.
