What would you do if you were in control of the franchise?

Who would be your X-Men roster, storylines, and everything else you would change and why?

I would have the roster be Gambit, Jean Grey, Rogue, Colossus, and Cyclops. I would focus on the brother hood,(Toad, quick silver, juggernaut, saber-tooth, and magneto), asteroid M, and Cerebro.

Hmmm, I would have the line up from the 90's cartoon, except switch Jubilee with Shadowcat. Or better, the current X Men Forever line up-it has Kurt as well!

Stories: I would love to see the Sentinels on screen! It is one of the most classic X Men stories/villains and it would have a lot of relevance in today's political climate. I am so tired of Magneto.

Whole new cast would be great (well, I might give Taylor Kitsch a go again, and I liked Ellen Page as Shadowcat). The franchise needs a reboot. JJ Abrams would be my go-to man. He can do characterization and action very well.

I would love it if they had uniforms from Ultimate X-Men or the 90's series.

I think allen cumming was THE nightcrawler.

Who would you cast for beast?

oh, and you can't go wrong with the danger room! They could even fight in it with an asgard setting!

I would start another trilogy with Apocalypse being the main villian , I would involve a alternate future with Bishop coming back to warn the X-men , and maybe retcon some of the events in X-men 3. I'd probably have magneto die trying to stop sentinels and go out with a bang. Also want to see a Nightcrawler cameo .

hmm I wouldn't change much I think we, as fans, could twork what we got:

X-Men 1
Team: Prof. X-Cyclops,Jean,Gambit,Storm intro. Rogue & Wolverine
Students: Jubilee, Iceman, Pyro, Kitty
BoM: Magneto-Mystique,Toad, Sabretooth,Quicksilver
Gov.: Senator Kelly, Friends of Humanity(minor role)
Plot elements: Mutants/Humans are in a fight for dominance, FoH role is shown to the ugly side of humanity, relationship between Magneto/Pietro is explored(think W&XM cartoon) also Rogue/Gambit(just mild flirtation), add the scene(s) w/Storm and Jean that didn't make it in2 the film,Cyclops has more of a leader-role(90's cartoon), Wolverine/Sabertooth history is slighty touched on, fight on Liberty Island is more epic; Scott/Jean vs. Quicksilver

X2 nothing major, more focus on Gambit's past,relationship w/Rogue, Storm's origin, I would swap the story Iceman had & give it to Pyro since it would make a greater impact of him leavin and going to magneto's side, action squence when both teams enter the spillway, Stryker makes a reference to "team X" when he confronts logan, brigther phoenix effect

X3; Plot would focus around Genosha, + Rogue/Colossus to the team, return of Jean and explain her origin, Sentinels

X4: Cure plot, return of Magento w/Avalanche, Morlocks, Dark phoenix, intro Beast/Angel

take back control of the characters from Fox, wait 10 yrs, and start all over again:

X-Men: Cyclops, Jean, Beast, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Rogue

X1 Plot: first film has the X-Men taking on the FoH causing mutant hysteria and staging incidents to pass Mutant Registration and elect Graydon Creed for president. by the end you see the FoH is just a puppet of Bastion.

Villains: Friends of Humanity, Bastion

X2 Plot: second movie bring in the Brotherhood (Magneto, Mastermind, Pyro, Blob, Avalanche) planning to assassinate Creed with plans to initiate the Sentinel Program. introduce the Inner Circle (Sebastian Shaw, White Queen, Selene, Nathaniel Essex) with their plans with Creed and his Sentinels.
*could be a way of introducing an adult Warren and/or Betsy as members of the Hellfire Club. introduce Wolverine.

Villains: Brotherhood, Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club

X3 Plot: Creed isn't elected, but Sentinel program goes live with Bastion's influence. Hellfire Club seizes control of the Sentinels as their plans to take over the country and begin attacking Washington. Xavier forms an alliance with Magneto- one team discovers whos behind the Sentinel attacks while another destroys their factory. when the smoke clears Nathaniel Essex dissappears with hints he answers to a higher power (Apocalypse).
*introduce more mutants with small, SIGNIFICANT roles joining/helping the X-Men: Havok, Polaris, Scarlet Witch, Kitty Pryde, Cannonball, etc.

Villains: Bastion, Hellfire Club, Sentinels (about 10-15ft tall, faster and more agile than the classic giants)

set up for future films with other villains, and different roster with mutants listed above.
