should it be Deadpool, Cyclops, Psyloke , Negasonic teenage warhead, gambit, Arcangel. Iceman,

What‘s a Xman?

The way I see it, it will be one or two of the following for the "major mutant role", which the story will put most focus on: Xavier, Magneto, Wolverine.

But there will be others who, while still important in the film, will start out as "supporting characters" to the heavyweight one(s).
Four or more of these: Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Mystique, Beast, Iceman, Quicksilver, Angel, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Rogue, Kitty Pryde.
They will of course grow in importance over time, in MCU.

Sorry that I left Deadpool out. It's because I think he will such an obvious character to transfer over to MCU.
But he won't be the biggest one in the plot. It won't revolve solely around him, he won't be the most important mutant, story-wise.
That he is one of the biggest draws for the audience, is a completely different thing :)

Nice (and refreshing?) concept for a topic this one, but I don't quite have an answer.

I suppose the easiest way to do it would be with Deadpool, as (via Deadpool 3) he can introduce any of the other MCU characters and still not interfere with the MCU timeline (fourth wall and all that). As far as the actual MCU goes though, I'd like for someone who's had less of a focus thus far, but at the same time, we've gotta remember that completely new characters may not draw in an audience.

If they can work around the age element (or just have her older) then Storm - eventually becoming a love interest with T'Challa could work. Cyclops and/or Nightcrawler maybe? I'd happily leave Mystique out of this one though, we really don't need to see her again anytime soon, and dare I say it, but the same can be said for Logan.

The likes of Colossus (because of Deadpool) and Quicksilver (Age of Ultron) could get a little complicated too, depending on whether there's a multiverse element in play for the characters being introduced.

any iconic X-man/woman except characters like Wolverine, Charles and Magneto.

Cyclops or Wolverine, or Storm
Then Xavier and Magneto
Xavier could switch his body with someone to keep a youngest appearance in MCU

what about Logan making a cameo appearance in F4... via- Ben Grimm war flashback/backstory

From what I hear Storm may be in BP2 (?) Rogue should have been in Captain Marvel, perhaps she can be in CM2 and put Brie out of our misery.

If anything I would like both Professor X and R.Richards to be in the next Dr.Strange movie at the end.

At this point I'm kind of thinking Storm...work her into whatever will happen to the Wakanda side of the MCU. And honestly...I think it sucks that a talent like Lupita Nypng'o is now in a rather pointess role in the MCU...if they could reasonable morph her character into Storm I'd be fine with that.

If it's a post-credit scene, I think Storm and Cyclops would work really well. They both have a very recognizable look, so they wouldn't even have to do or say anything and people would get that it's an X-Men tease. Of course, it doesn't hurt that they're the two characters I want to see have significant roles this time around.

I just came to say curiously Storm or Cyclops.
But if they are gonba debut in MCU, it better be in the actual movie and having some lines!

no more 'silent characters' treatment, Lord. that was a Fox thing and should stay on the past.
Marvel Xmen need justice and Feige better start right, and not treating them like extras. That wont help them one bit.

1) Deadpool 2) Wolverine 3) Storm. But with freaking Covid, we maybe years away from this happening!!

Honestly, my instinctual preference would be that you introduce the *idea* of mutants in some earlier movies, sure. . . but you do so with solidly second or third tier characters. The actual name marquis X-Men? Save them to be the stars of their own movie(s), don't make them introductory guest stars elsewhere.
