Should Hercules be introduced in the MCU?

Since Henry Cavill is out of DC...recruit him to Marvel and have him play Hercules or there's Joe Manganiello

This is why the modern version of Herc should be in the MCU and why the Eternals and Olympians should be separate. Herc isn't like any of the other big gun characters, maybe only the 90's run of Wonder Man comes close. His interactions with the other heroes would be gold for not only humor but metacommentary on these kind of characters since mythological Hercules is a wellspring for the modern day super hero.

The Marvel Herc can balance out humor with incredible drama.

I would suggest anyone track down collections that contain Incredible Hercules #126 to get who this character is.

That's what would be a blast with bringing Herc and the Olympians into the MCU. Casting all the various Gods, Titans, ancient heroes and mythical monsters. It's a shame they already wasted Liam Neeson in those CLASH films cuz he'd be perfect for a Marvel Zeus. You need to cast the way they did for the Thor supporting cast. Zeus would have to be played by someone of equal caliber to Anthony Hopkins.

Yeah you’re right, it is fun casting Greek Gods. Oh well there’s still plenty of people out there. I’m still a fan of Alfred molina for Zeus especially if he gets to keep his British accent

Nick Frost as Hercules would be freaking incredible. I want him in the MCU so badly.

But recent rumors have that Hercules is the Eternals lead that Marvel is planning on making their first openly LGBT character in the films. In which case, dollars to donuts it goes to Luke Evans.

And while Evans as the first gay hero on the big screen would be great, it's really not the direction I'd hoped they'd take that character. I don't want him to turn into "gay Thor". But they were always going to have a problem because MCU Thor pulled a lot from 616 Herc's personality. Nick Frost could still be Gilgamesh.

I mean, obviously not a lead. But I certainly think he could land a smaller supporting role like Gilgamesh/The Forgotten One. He certainly seems to me like the sort of actor Marvel would love to have in a part like that. If John C Rielly can do it...
