Sequels What'd make a good spidey action scene?

But people actually did get "mad" about the flag being used for the third movie in a row.

I would absoloutely love to see a vertigo battle between Spidey and Vulture on the side, top, or around the Empire State Building.

I really like this idea. Can you imagine Vulture swooping in and out of windows with people and then flinging them down at the ground from the upper regions of the E.S. B, while spidey is trying to play catch and toss with his web safety nets.

wish i could do storyboards....

That would kick ass!

Shocker and his gang escaping from Spiderman in armored car and Spiderman is chasing them while Shocker is shooting blasts from armored car....
yeah I's love to see Spiderman chasing an armored car while Shocker is shooting blasts.

About the flag. It was not about it's inclusion. It's not an "Un-American" thing at all. But the way they used it, was just corny. It should have been moved to Spider Day instead. I mean the shot is glorious, but it was overkill when I first saw it. I don't care so much anymore...

Same here. The first time yes, because of 9/11/ The second time was nice and subtle. The third time was just forced.

I don't know about you, but I'm glad a Captain America movie is being made just because the flag will be shown and Cap is patriotic. Let's see how many people complain about that ****.

Yeah, I think Cap will only be successful here. I mean, what other countries are gonna want to see a movie about a superhero named Captain AMERICA?

Personally, I think that not seeing a movie about Captain America because you hated the previous administration for pissing off the entire world is a load of crap. Worldwide audiences should be able to separate the two things. Plus, Cap's movie is being set in WW2, so everything should be fine. Everyone loves to hate Nazis :hehe:

Damn, that's true. :woot:

Plus, if they go with the Ultimate route, they'll be aliens.

Doesn't really make any sense, but I'm just putting it out there.

Better not be aliens. We want to see Nazis getting their asses kicked! Who gets tired of that?

The Chitauri were working with the Nazis in the Ultimate universe; Herr Kleiser.

Although I would prefer Red Skull.

I agree -- we need to see more action -- I'd like to see the real action of Spiderman I back for 4 and 5. Not so much CGI - i get there has to be some with superheroes - but too much is unbelievablel. Raimi needs to pull Chuck Jeffreys back into the mix. He can produce some mad action that will but Spiderman on the top. it's his work on SpidermanI, Freddy vs. Jason and Blade Trinity -- I know, I know. . . Blade Trinity's action left out a lot - but check the behind the scenes on the DVD - Mayhem - if that stuff would have made it to the screen BT would have rocked! Hooked on Action!

So are films and a teenager getting bitten by a spider and then gaining spider powers.

Dude, do you know anything about the real life transgenic experiments being done in the world? If you find the concept so unbelieveable why do you even like spiderman. Stop trying to ruin it for the science fiction fans. One day normal humans will be obsolete, genetic hybrid post-humans will be able to exceed our physical and mental capacities.

Just because spiderman doesnt exist in the real world, doesnt mean that he should not obey real world laws of PHYSICS, as well as LIGHT and SHADOW.

That's very exagerated (the movie didn't sucked because of that), although that scene was quite POINTLESS in SM3: what exactly was Raimi trying to prove with that? Beats me...

It partly sounds you're being sarcastic. I can't decide which...

Did I say the movie sucked because of the flag? Nope.

And a LOT of people did get furious with the flag being shown in the third installment. I didn't see it as pointless; I hardly mind when an American flag is shown in a movie. It could've been handled "better" I suppose; but I do think it's better than what it originally was, with him infront of the flag during the Spider-Man day.

Him being infront of the flag was to show that he is there to fight the criminals, even if there are two instead of one.

Sorry, I am actually serious. It sounds crazy, but there are scary wild things going on in the world around us, many in secret. I believe that -with full seriousness- in the very near future, it will be possible -though maybe not practical- to produce a human being able to
*jump up to 6 times higher than average people
*Be six times stronger
*stick to flat surfaces by hands and feet
*Use enhanced senses/reflexes to avoid danger

I say not practical because we currently have armoured suits that can achieve the same results.
At the moment there is a law in place stating that any transgenic human embryo (a human embryo with animal genes) must be destroyed at a particular level of development before the life could be considered 'conscious'. In secret, there may infact already be transgenic humans who have reached adult hood.
