What's a good Batman website to get caught up on what's going on in the comics?

Wikipedia. Find a storyline that sounds interesting then go pick up a comic.

Hush is a good intro to the modern era. It will fit nicely with the game as well.

I agree with Hush being a good intro, and while it isn't as relevant immediately as Hush is, I love Batman Bruce Wayne Murderer.
