What's the Last Book You Read/Finished? - Part 1 Page 1 Chapter 1 Paragraph - Part 4

The Complete History of Jack the Ripper ---Philip Sugden

I've read this years ago and decided to read it again. I find it one of the more level-headed studies of the Jack the Ripper crimes. It does an especially good job of dispelling some of the long-lasting myths and breaks down the police reports as well as the media accounts in a responsible way.

The Death of Jane Lawrence -- Caitlin Starling

Intriguing classically gothic horror novel for the first three quarters that falls off a cliff with a load of magical mumbo-jumbo toward the end.

How to Sell a Haunted House -- Grady Hendrix

Good set-up, annoying protagonist, poor ending.

A House at the Bottom of a Lake -- Josh Malerman

95% interesting build-up - 5% huge letdown non-ending.
