Anyway:

The War for Late Night: When Leno Went Early

This was written by Bill Carter, the guy who wrote The Late Shift about the war between Leno and Letterman over Carson's chair. It was really good. We all know how it ended, but it brought you inside all the rooms where the important decisions were made at NBC as well as its rivals going back to 2004 when Leno got bumped for Conan, all the way to Zucker getting the pink slip from Comcast in September. It was really interesting to see all the warring personalities at NBC, ABC and Letterman's own little island.

The Pirate King, by R.A. Salvatore

Just in time to get The Heroes by Joe Abercrombie, woo!

Currently reading The Shipping News by E. Anne Proulx.

Last one finished was Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris.

Just finished Isaac Asimov's Complete Robot stories. Solidly good SF naturally. Its not at all what hes known for but Asimov could at times write far better characters than he is given credit for. His puzzle like plots are greath though.

I started on Stephen King's Full Dark, No Stars, plan to have it done shortly.

Titus Groan. Stunning language, a thrilling story that reads like a Nolanized Dark Shadows.
