Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro

Beautifully written as it’s eerie and profound. The first-person narrative makes it engaging for the reader and it is simply a compelling and thought provoking novel.

4/5

The Prometheus Project by Steve White

One of the worst ****ing books I have ever read. I really hope I read nothing worse than this for the rest of the year (or for the rest of my life for that matter).

For pleasure actually. Here it's not mandatory to read the book in school.
Anyway, I enjoyed the book since I love reading classic books. :yay:

Got the first six books for Christmas, so I'll be workin my way through those for awhile.

just finished Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Just finished I Am Number Four by Pitticus Lore

I'm almost done reading "Variable Star" by Robert Heinlein & Spider Robinson

- apparently Spider wrote the nove based on notes found after Heinlein's death. Now, if you haven't read a lot of Spider Robinson you might enjoy this book, but I felt cheated because there are 3 phrases in the book that are echo phrases from prior Robinson novels. :csad:

Apt Pupil (technically a novella). I loved it, wanted more even.

Saw the movie....I liked it. Book was better, obviously.

Gardens of the Moon
Deadhouse Gates

The first two books of the Malazan Book of the Fallen series. I can already say this is one of the best fantasy series I have ever read.
