Hilarious, awesome and perhaps the best ****ing action movie I've ever seen.

I AM LEGEND

Will Smith stretches his acting muscles again in I am Legend
For 80% of the film its a one man show, and Smith holds his own in spades
As Dr.Robert Neville seemingly the last man on earth he travels around N.Y now a desolate place, with his dog Sam by his side.
The city now being taken over by nature, tufts of grass sprout from concrete, deer run freely as do lions. The city is also being taken over by whats unnatural. What was once human the Darkseekers.Brought out in an amazing edge of your seat scene when Sam runs ahead into the darkness and Neville goes to search for him.
Nevilles back story is told in heartbreaking flashbacks. It is no wonder why he starts to lose his sanity.Still he holds on to the man he once was determined to find a cure, for what has turmed man and animal into zombie like beings with heightened speed, strength, and agility.
There are a few plot holes and about 10 to 15 minutes was cut from the film which would have likely just enhanced it.
This is an entertaining piece of work and i will definitely seek out the DVD

JUNO

Juno perfectly matches a razor sharp witty script by Diablo Cody with a very sharp cast the standout being Ellen Page.I last saw Page in the involving Hard Candy.
Juno finds herself pregnant after a fling with track runner and bandmate
Paulie Bleeker (a laid back but funny Michael Cera) She presents her case to her father and stepmother (the great J.K. Simmons & Allison Janney) with maturity.Of course they're disappointed but they dont scream at or berate her. They also handle her decision to carry the baby to term and give it up for adoption, with maturity.
Jennifer Garner is great as the controlling adoptive mom,Jason Bateman is more laid back and hip and forms more of a bond with Juno
I guess some may find the rat a tat script, or sequences over the top,or to be to hip for the room but what serio comic film these days doesnt have the aforementioned?
