Legends What's Your Favorite Star Wars EU Book/Comic Book Thread

Hi all.

First post.

So I have never read any Star Wars books. I would like to read books about the actual movies. The problem is, after starting to research said books, I find that there are zillions (well ok.. maybe not zillions...) of Star Wars books out there.

Perhaps somebody could give me an opinion of which books based on the movies 1 though 6 are good reads?

I don't want to read books aimed at junior readers. I want books aimed at adults.

I just started reading Shatterpoint. Only about two chapters in, but I'm really liking it so far.

Yesterday I started looking up all the canon media and easily found a list that has everything chronologically. I started gathering everything without paying any attention only to fin Yoda's secret war coming first (with Luke, Leia and Han), long before Episode 1.
There's probably a simple answer to this, but i just don't see it.

edit: Solved. These actually contain flashbacks for a time before the phantom menace.
