Hope this isn't too far off topic, I figured what better place than the Ironman movie forum.

I thought it was suppose to be out in October, but I haven't heard anything.

I believe it was pushed back to Febuary 2007, Marvel got behind with Ultimate Avengers 2 and that pushed all the other films back, I'm not a 100% sure on Febuary, but thats when Ultimate Avengers came out this year, so it seems to be the most likely.

:wow: :cmad: :csad:

I can't believe it! I thought I'd get to see it sooner than that! I really like Ironman and it sucks he hasn't gotten the attention he deserves, I just need to see somethin with him in it now!!! :woot: I don't want to wait anymore.:csad:

I'm sure when the movie comes out he'll be huge.

I cant wait for it either, hopefully we'll get an announcement soon.

That sucks.

Also the animated Iron Man movie will premiere on DVD on Jan. 23. The film is the third in the Marvel/Lionsgate deal, following Ultimate Avengers and Ultimate Avengers 2. The film is written by Greg Johnson and directed by Frank Paur.

Edit: Ooops just saw it 3 posts up. :)

Is this the suit that the animated series Iron Man will use?

Do you think they would try to get it similar to the movie suit?

I would guess that the animated series due fall '07 will use a different armor all together, simply because, they wouldn't want to reveal the movie armor a year before the film hits, it maybe simplier to the animated movie armor.

They arleady kind of revealed the movie armor and I don't think the animated armor would spoil it. Armor does change from time to time and the animated film was already being drawn prior to Iron Man's recent movie revelation.

Thats a awesome cover by Joe Q, I like the story they described as well.

Here is a look at the gift set with the mini Iron Man bust

Check here for news on Special features & an Iron Man bust coming out. http://www.davisdvd.com/news/animation.html

That is a fantastic cover to the DVD, and I'm intreged by the New Mandarin Origin story, I'm really excited to pick this up, I'm debating if I will buy the speacial box set, I already have both UA 1 & 2, but that mini bust is sweet.

This is what the Marvel crew said at the press conference:

"Marvel fans are among the most loyal and fervent in existence (don't try to kiss our asses into buying this) and they are anxious for Iron Man to take the spotlight (Don't make out that fans demanded this. You're taking advantage of the current superhero craze, that's all this project is. I don't think I've ever come across anyone anxious for Iron Man, very keen perhaps)," said Lionsgate President Steve Beeks. "The Marvel Animated Features have been so successful (sucessful? They have cranked out two rushed, half-assed movies so far with mediocre sales) because they lived up to the expectations of these fans (there were no expectations because there was never a big interest in the animated movies) in both production quality and the experience they have come to expect with Marvel projects (we don't expect any 'experience'. Marvel have given us gold and they have given us crap). We anticipate THE INVINCIBLE IRON MAN to achieve similar critical and sales success (so average in both cases then) as the feature will bring the superhero to life with a story that honors its comic book roots."

Very True. Marvel have given some of the very best aswell as the very worst animations.

I kind of liked the Ultimates. (I assume that was what they were referring to)

Wonder if they will dig up MODOK for the movie?
