When was the last time you JUMPED in the cinema?

Signs, when Mel Gibson looked under the door and the hand jumped at him.

Last time was in X3 when Jean suddenly grabbed Wolverine's arm in the infirmary.

Ithought it was pretty funny when people - myself included - jumped out of that scene in Spider-Man where Norman wakes up on the floor and has a flashback. Somebody actually said something like, "can´t believe I got a scare in a Spider-Man movie"!

The one from Spidey that got me was when Norman was looking in the mirror and all of a sudden Goblins voice shouts out, with the surround sound i nearly hit the roof

Also my dad and cousin jumped during the Bourne identity when the assassin suddenly smashes through the glass in Bourne's apartment

Haha, that was actually pretty funny. :D

Anyway, the last time I can remember is M:I:3 probably. Right before the opening credits where the fuse being lit starts, the bang really startled me.

Signs. The part where
the news is on, and an alien pops up out of nowhere at a Mexican party during the video shown.

Oh my god yes, my reaction was almost the same as Pheonix's character.

Saw: when Jigsaw in the creepy costume shows up in the closet in Adam's apartment

other than the forgotten.... i would have to add:

WHAT LIES BENEATH(my num.1 scariest movie)

when harrison ford examines the necklace around pfiefers neck then pull the head back a little and ---- !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....the face scared the crap out of me just as much as it did harrison ford!!

Pretty much just The Forgotten the rest I fall asleep during. That was like the most unexpected moment in a Movie

EVER

i agree... also the part when the car crashes scared the **** out of me.

KILL BILL vol1

is also another worth mentioning.....

"Bill.........its your bab- BOOM!!!"

That part alone made The Forgotten a Movie worth paying to see in the Theaters

The scene in 'Eight Below'...SPOILER BELOW

When one of the dogs is approaching a dead whale. There's this hole in it's side...the camera zooms in...and a leopard seal jumps out of the hole. Made me jump back in my seat. Did not expect that in a PG Disney flick.

yup...

there were two other scenes in there hat made me jump....the car crash....and the guy during the interogation(which was ruined in the commercials)

I think it was in The Descent. But I think I only screamed (many times) not jumped. There were some scenes that didn't scare me but I screamed 'cause the whole theater screamed so I got frightened of them.

I jumped of joy when I was watching Equilibrium for the first time. :) (It was in friend's living room, not theater.)

On Signs when Joaquin Phoenix's character watches the video on the news and sees the alien walk across the screen.

Also, Same as the person above, when Mel Gibson looks under the door and sees the hand.

Hide and Seek...the scene in the basement.

My frend very loudly pointed and said "haha you B****!"

If movies from 2002 and 2004 are the last ones to make you jump in the cinema... well... I suggest you all watch more movies.

Well, I've seen some really scary, jumpy movies, but I didn't see them in the cinema. Some of them were before my time. (The Exorcist, Amityville Horror, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc.)

Probably when I saw Seven. The scene with the guy in the bed.

No movie have made me jump since. Maybe because I rarely see horror movies these days. They just all look crap and boring

For the first time in a long time, I jumped during Silent Hill when Pyramid Head
rips the skin off that poor *****.
But that was more of "holy ****!"

Nothing's really made me jump recently, maybe cause I watch more movies on DVD? Or that there haven't been any really good scare moments.
