Where are all the Marvel games??

Honestly... where are all the DC Games?

I think the idea of Marvel consolidating their videogame stuff is pretty doggone cool. I'd love to see Spider-Man get the full on Arkham-level treatment. Would rock my socks. The other thing that could determine my purchases would be a multiplayer Avengers game or series that does for Video Games what Avengers did for films.

I still want a Moon Knight game
Merging the best of Assassin's Creed, Batman Arkham series, and maybe a few more things
He's got what it takes to make one of the best games

I think Spidey deserves the Arkham treatment first and foremost. It's way overdue IMO.

the person in marvel that will benifit the most from the Arkham treatment is Dare Devil . and you can partner him of with alot of heroes as well. marvel knights style.

With Nightwing, Rocksteady already nailed how DareDevil could fight in a game
Now if only someone would utilize that, and improve it

trust me their fighting style is a bit more different then you think. since DD can fight with out the billy club's ( yeah I know night wing can as well but just saying they didn't show this game wise with theexcrima sticks ) and use's them the same way batman love to use his bater rang's. But I kinda see what you mean. I just ,mean the main stay city full of crime and the fact they both Ninjitsue masters and the they both have a fave tricked style weapon they made them selves and both are rich and self made men. but DD has to work a 9 to five job to earn his fortune as a lawyer and keep an eye on crime from there while batman has people run his company's.

I always find the disdain for lighter fare to be both sad and funny. The very first post answers the question, but then disregards it as being too kid-friendly, which is apparently a mortal sin for both video games and superhero products to commit.

I'm not sure how a Daredevil "Arkham" game would work. Gameplay-wise it would be very similar, but the best thing those games have going for it is making you feel like you're Batman. I wonder how that would work for Daredevil, especially since he's blind. You would always be in detective mode :oldrazz:.

You have to remind me of his painful comic mission in Marvel Ultimate Alliance
What were they thinking?

you'd be in that only if your have to use his radar sense out side of it you'd be like a normal third person martial art's game most of your case's will be through your lawyer job, foggy your partner will be your Alfred of sorts , but he's your business partner and not your butler that was a former MI6 agent .

so he can't help out side of work, too bad foggy. Most of your partners are women til you meet some other heroes like (younger )spider or the Heroes for hire and the ( some younger with in )X-Men (Cyclops dated colleen wing from HfH) and run into captain america him self.

and besides that when DD does use his radar sense or his other sense's like when there's an interrogation he can be used as lie detector. So DD can tell when a person lying. Or as he said to spiderman he knows what a person looks like under their mask's.

You can use the sense of smell he has like in that that show the Sentinel. he'll be his own person crime lab unless he has to have some one do a bit of further work for him.

and you have Rykers prison and raven croft the asylum (of marvel.)

Where is the follow up to Cap to coincide with TWS? How much insane fun would a Guardians of The Galaxy game be?!

I'm really glad we are not getting tie-ins anymore. I want proper developed games, that don't get rushed out to meet a date. Marvel needs to start developing good games that take their time, and are quality wise on-par with the Batman Arkham games.

Spidey's the last guy who deserves another game. I wanna good Fantastic Four game, which will never happen.
I agree with you
But we know Spidey will get a few more games, it's bound to happen

The closest thing to a good FF game was MuA, putting all 4 members on your squad

with what was stated with the dev's at Gaz recently cause of what was done with throg and currently with venom, who's in the upcoming advance pack, we'll be seeing Mr fantastic happen sooner then we think so we'll all 4 FF members in marvel heroes which seem to have a lot of new player happy since some people were pushing for this.

Venom, Mr. Fantastic and Frog-Thor

How are Venom, Mr. Fantastic and Frog-Thor connected you may ask?
You may notice that Frog-Thor (Throg) has stretchable limbs. This is a proof-of-concept test of stretching limbs, which will be used in the tech for Venom and Mr. Fantastic.

sue of the FF has already been mentioned to be in the upcoming starter pack this year which Star lord is a part of as well as dr strange, venom , ma
gneto jugJuggernaut etc .

Again with in that game you can get 100 splinters for the first time you complete the "raft" prelude and you quickly gather the extra 75 needed to get a new random hero. Or if you play through the storyline you get another 100 splinters for defeating Doom the first time and by then you will have close to the 400 needed for a new character of your choice rather than doing the random hero.

But none of them were that good (at least since Ultimate Spider-Man). They ranged from mediocre to bad.

No see, I didn't mean to imply that kid-friendly is unacceptable and lego Marvel doesn't count because of it.
The game's great, but it's also not a "proper" Marvel game, in that it's lego graphics
This thread relates to our desire to see more... Avengers games, more X-Men games, more Spidey Games... hell anything really

I and the others here who agree with me would like to see more games like X-Men Legends, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Spider-Man 2, CA:TFA, XO: Wolverine, or a Marvel take on the hugely successful and wonderful-to-play Batman:Arkham games.

Lego's great, no hate here.

I'd love an updated Punisher game. The one from 2004 is underrated. I also agree on Moon Knight

Aren't they keeping the right for movies Spidey games? Even after releasing TASM2?
Movie tie-in games just don't work anymore. And overall, publishers are just sick of them. The license is expensive, the time table and deadlines are horrible so that they can make the game come out on time for the movie which results in horrible quality, and people have wizened up to paying $60 for a crappy game. I think that future games that will be based off of future Spider-Man movies will just go straight to mobile like we saw with the Dark Knight Rises and recent Marvel Studios adaptations.

Honestly... where are all the DC Games?
We have Batman: Arkham, Injustice, and DC Universe Online. Three high quality and most importantly viable franchises. Marvel doesn't even have one.

I need an X-Men game that plays like a 3rd person squad game. Kinda like Mass Effect. Telekinesis would work like Biotic powers. Everyone with projectiles would probably play like a 3rd person shooter character. Gameplay would need to be tweaked though, for melee heavy characters like Wolverine and Colossus.
