hmm the third person part does work for X-Men but if you want gear's of war that's more cables version of X-Force style only. if any thing then again if marvel had picked wild storm comic's I can see wet works working there as well. and having Io and the wild c.a.ts and mixed that into with the X -Men. The x-men work better working covertly on some occasions when they actually have a good writer that is .I'd love to see:
An X-Men Squad Third Person Co-op Action Game. Gears of War meets X-Men Legends.
I'd love a kind of "Marvel World War" RTS, with SHIELD, Wakanda, Lateveria, Attilan, Atlantis and Utopia as available armies.
I'd like to see Captain America and Iron Man (maybe both together?) get the full Arkham Asylum treatment. Cap specializing in all the combat, stealth and thrown weapons type stuff, with Iron Man specializing in all the transportation, gadget and vehicle type stuff.
and that would be a problem because?Ehh, I don't know about a Daredevil game in the arkham style
It would be wayyy to similar to Batman, hell even DD's sense would end up looking similar to "Detective mode"
Speaking of XML/MUA, I would love it if they simply opened it up and made it more complex. Give it the openness and freedom of DC Universe Online/Lego Marvel Superheroes, but with the complexity and deep gameplay of the Spider-Man, Batman and even Hulk Ultimate Destruction games.
I wouldn't enjoy that top down view for an open world...
^Total agreement. A DD Arkham-style Game would pretty much be exactly like Batman Arkham, except with worse gadgets and villains. I'm not a Moon Knight fan, but he does seem to bring something new to the table. Captain America is my fave though, if that Cap game from a few years ago had a deeper fighting system, upgrade system and level design, it would have been one of my favorites EVAR. I can only imagine an Iron Man game with great controls, would also rock socks.
And I really meant Marvel World War as an RTS, games like Starcraft, Command and Conquer or Age of Empires. Not a board game, an RTS, Real Time Strategy game. They're fun, though they do require a lot of strategizing, as the name implies.
As for X-Men meets Gears of War, I was really using that as more an example for four player co-op play with third person shooter mechanics. You can help your friends and revive them if they go down, you're dropped into different combat environments with varied objectives. They shouldn't take the story or enemies or weapons from Gears of War, they should take those from the X-Men Legends half, having a list of powers available, depending on the character you choose. And while the X-Men have stealthed at great times, it wasn't stealth in the Metal Gear Solid type of crouching around and hiding, they'd simply be careful about what areas they breached and when.
That's why I used DCUO and Legeo Marvel Heroes as example how MUA free-roam should be done.
they have a history with it.
and BTW I'm pretty sure rain bow Six kinda beat gears to that . but you had to have played that series of game to know that. but I under stand what you mean. it can still be done in raid style mission's
They have shown the X -men have done alot as Xaviers proxy's another word for agents and it'll show cool ways of game play as a team and solo. and more then just full combat there other options to explore with them. Especially since they have that device called the image inducer device they have and used which both Night crawler and beast have done yo walk in public and not have people notice the cause they look like normal human with that device on them. it's really good for disguise
As for dare Devil he's been seen to have his billy clubs do some of the stuff that batman bata rangs have like a tazer device or a trick blade and he's tossed it a ricocheted like a boomer rang hims self and he's turned it in a short staff and whip and more recently Nun chuck as he sports it as now or a manrikigusari with is like a extending rope like version of the Nun chuck which even TMNT currently has Michelangelo rip of of late with the latest series.
and all ninja's use smoke bombs and I've Seen DD use it when he's with the chaste taking on the hand like when Electra was to be first brought back to life and Black widow was running around with him as his partner during that event. and just have use surikens/ thowing star's your pretty much set
no I'm sorry the X-men have proven to be good spies with the right writers. and that was doin is always good thing
as to dare devil if the ninja turtles copyed a weapon/ gadgets from his list of inventory then no they aren't worse. and it's not like cains haven't been used as trick weapons as the real life spy world has used during the cold war.
The Ninja Turtles don't even have gadgets. Their gadgets are definitely worse, because they have none. Put it this way, which would you rather have:
