I've stated before to someone in a different forum the reason Lego can get aways with it is cause they are an independent publisher . If they were just a studio ad were fully/totally owned by Warner it wouldn't have happened. they can do any Ip they feel like.

That is not correct. TT Games, which makes the Lego games are a subsidiary of WB. WB bought them out back in 2007. Their parent company for the last 7 years has been Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. They aren't an independent publisher which is why WB publishes their games

before disney bought marvel tried to do something with SEGA and Activision
IRON MAN 1, Hulk,IRONMAN2, Thor , Capt 1 all had games. none of them were good. hulk games okay but rest was ****.Sega also was developing Avengers game for Movie release but sega bankruptted and game cancelled.
Last game activision did was deadpool game (with marvel licence not spidey).
then they took that too

these days all disney do is doing stupid quick cash in to other games.Marvel heroes is not good game .

They currently supporting these games
Marvel Heroes,Disney Infinity,AvengersAlliance(browsergame),MarvelCardgame on ios, Minecraft dlcs on xbox, and some games from gameloft(winter soldier,thor dark world, guardians of galaxy and x men days of future games)

all of them **** to be honest. not one of them has some quality as Marvel Ultimate Alliance nor Marvel vs Capcom

They need to get their ****s together and needs to some Marvel Ultimate alliance type game(if licence problem change name done.) same game mechanics good level design keep 4 players online local coop.

add chacters from both movie and COMic parts

maybe if they dont want to promote fox movie parts then reduce limit of not our studio characters

I still say Uncanny X-men: DoFP is the best X-men game since XML 2. People that wont touch it bc its mobile are missing out. Anyone who was a fan of the SNES/Genesis games would appreciate what Glitchsoft has managed to do. My wish for them would be to be able to expand and create a sequel with PSN/XBL in mind. Or even doing a proper Avengers game next

i cant agree sir. game is bland as hell. there is only one attack button and level designs are boring even for mobile game.

I got some hands on time with the new Disney Infinity game... It's not bad, to be honest.

I flat out asked the producer of the game, point blank, why the only Marvel games on the market are aimed at kids. He got really sad and said "Honestly, it's about licensing... If Marvel had the licensing for ALL their characters, they'd set up an MGU in a heart beat."

So make of that what you will.

theres one button for attacks but different swipes which leads to different attacks and multiple combos as you chain them together. It actually works out quite well

i think its about merchandise not console games.
since disney infinity is Toys game like skylanders so its counts as merchandise.
and merchandise stuff belongs to FOX. thats why you wont see x men maybe they will do wolverine a little chance thats it

That doesn't make any sense because you can use comic Wolverine, doesn't have to be movie Wolverine. Marvel still makes action figures of all it's characters. I think that the rights have something to do with console, PC and App games all being different.

i dont think its about licence. they have all gaming licence. marvel did that days of future past game not Fox(comic based but came with movie).

they are also doing FF4 and X MEN freely in Marvel Heroes

No, it's definitely still a license issue. The Disney Infinity guy definitely said that to my face. It's why the Spider Man characters in DI are based on the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon series.

what I know is when they asked as shown in that video link From EPN.TV in that quote . When they were asked by EPN.TV how it was possible , the man that's the head of lego video games period, that was supposed to explain it didn't Explain it in other way then he felt like doing so. So it's ether that or they have some Special pull. so as I told that person there . So I'm going with that. other wise that man in charge should have explained it better. they some special pull the kid a publisher has.



And paypaytr is correct the io Days of future past the IOS is terrible.


Marvel heroes has improved though. So I can't agree with him there. avengers alliace is touh oe to talk about , cause it's a face book ip but it also one of my busiest threads and is a hit .
