I was really conflicted when making this choice. DC has my favourite character, but that is the only character I like by them. Marvel, however, has a bigger list of characters that appeal to me.


So Marvel it is.

In terms of the way they market thier characters and how they present the comics, I'm DC all the way. Those Absolute editions are a treat, and I have yet to find an equivalent from any other company. I also think the bigger DC characters tend to get some more interesting one-shot comics, or ones that work better as stand alone TPB. I can't think of something Marvel has done that reaches the same scale as New Frontier or TDKR.

However, I do like a lot of Marvel's characters (I got into comics through Spidey so I'm definetly a fan). Thier movies on the whole have been more enjoyable, but the amount they put out has produced some ghastly bombs.

Been more into DC Comics lately, pretty much stopped buying all Marvel Comics (with the exception of the Ultimate stuff and Runaways) after One More Day. That being said, I also haven't bought comics in almost two months. Gotta get over there soon.
