Which DVD (if any) of SM3 will you buy?

And i still dont understand why if your don't like a movie, then you hang around a forum dedicated to it or even feel the need to post in said forum.

I never go onto the message boards of a film I hated. I put it behind me and move on to something new. its fine if people don't want to buy the dvd. It's just not healthy to hold a grudge against it and complain about it for 3 months.

There's an option on the poll for people not getting it at all. They've as much right to say whether they're not purchasing it, as those who are.

Spider-Man fans like to talk about all things Spidey related. Good and bad.

Well, yeah. And I don't think he meant it in a bitter "If you don't like the movie, get out!" way. It's a valid question that I've really never seen answered to an extent that's satisfied me.

I get that people want to talk about what they didn't like, and I've done the same myself (I lasted for a little while in the X3 boards after the release, until I had satisfied my need to voice and explain my very negative opinion of the film). But it makes sense to me to talk at length if you had a passion opinion on a film, be it positive or negative.

What I don't get is when people claim to be completely indifferent towards a movie, that it bored them or whatever, yet continue to skulk the boards. Either they're lying and care a lot more about it (positively or negatively) than they'll admit, or they simply don't know what it means to be indifferent. If you were bored or disiniterested with a film, you'd think you wouldn't want to waste one more single minute discussing it.

I'm getting the Wal-Mart exclusive and the 2 disc special edition.

I've asked for the standard-definition edition for Christmas. I won't be sure which edition I'll get until I actually get it, but since it's cheaper I expect to receive the single-disc edition. I hate the price gouging Sony (and the retailers) inflict on the consumers with making the 2-disc edition more expensive -- in Wal-Mart's case, almost $10 more.

And besides, I'll just be watching the film for the most part.

I've stated many times that I did love the film,although it could've been alot better. Even if I hated the movie I would still get it on dvd. I mean,it's Spidey! Being a huge Freddy Krueger fan hasn't stopped me from getting Freddy's Dead on dvd although it was a horrible film for me.
