Starting with Batman Begins onwards. To be an official DC film, the film must be produced by Warner Bros. and has the DC logo before the film.

Constantine.

It's not a bad film per se, I enjoyed it. It is a bad adaption of Hellblazer, though.

I would say Constantine as well, not because I don't like it, just because I LOVE every new wave DC movie.

I haven't seen constantine, so I voted V for Vendetta. God, I do not understand the praise that movie gets. I didn't like Superman Returns either, but atleast the franchise itself gives the movie some additional pull.

Singerman Returns gets my vote for the worst. One wicked scene with him saving the plane and the rest of the movie blew chunks. :down:cmad:

Neither V for Vendetta nor Constantine gave me any high expectations. So, IMO, SR was the worst just for making me think it would be good and then just sending my hopes crashing to the ground.

Constantine is a bad adaptation but it wasn't boring as all hell, so I voted Superman returns

I vote goes to Constantine. Wasn't crap but wasn't better than any of the others on the list.

Constantine. It's the weakest, easily.

I actually like/love the other films on the list. I think they are pretty good.

Those were all good movies. A poll to choose a "worst" of a selection of decent to great comicbook adaptation cinema has about as point as choosing a worst sportscar to be given for a birthday present. :whatever: When I think of all the crap I have to watch I'm thankful that I occasionally get movies like those five once in a while to suspend the torment.

The correct answer is: This poll is stupid and we kindly ask those who have voted to refrain from contributing to the human gene pool.

I picked V. While Constantine was not a very good adaptation, I liked it better than V, probably because Constantine at least kept more of Hellblazer's themes, whereas V never even mentioned Anarchy once.

Constantine. Every other movie on that list was actually, you know, good.

I've been a Superman fan for over 25 years, unfortunately, Superman Returns is the worst out of those movies (although I am not a fan of keanu, but Sup Returns is just that bad). Brian Singer needs to suffer all the torture which the Wu Tang Clan talk about in the intro of the song, Method Man.

superman retrusn did what i kinda expected

haven't seen v for vendetta yet but constantine was a decent watch for me but i hadn't read the comics.

now batman begins started off really well but the third act was just so bad and cheesy it made my stomach crawl. Man i felt cheated watching that.

Who were the two morons that voted for The Dark Knight? I voted Superman Returns. It was corny, campy, and unbearably boring.

This is a misleading poll. None of these films were bad. I wouldn't vote here.

I'd have to say it be Constantine. I enjoy the movie. But I l liked V for Vendetta. Batman Begins was great. Superman Returns gets my approval for Kevin Spacey shivin Brandon Routh's Supes then pushin him off and tellin him to fly. That was pretty bad---. The Dark Knight was phenom.

Funny, because none of those movies have exactly been bad, and 3 of them are part of a class that I would call the greatest films of the genre.....so of this new generation of films, DC seems to have a much better batting average than Marvel. DC has yet to produce a "Ghost Rider" or "Elektra".
If forced to choose, I guess I would have to say Constantine, but Superman Returns is very close.

I voted but I have seen TDK yet and the others aren't bad

I voted Constantine because its cinematically weak and poorly adapted.

Its still a fantastic guilty pleasure. Id watch over Superman Returns anyday.

The reason I didnt pick SR is because it was based on precedent of Donners vision (which is understandable but a bad move as far as Im concerned) and in a technical aspect I think its fairly strong. I just cant enjoy at all

Haven't seen "Constantine" all the way through, but apart from that, SR is the only one on the list that I didn't like.

 Constantine was released months before Batman Begins, so it shouldn't even be a choice based on the OP's criteria.

I vote for Catwoman. Its lack of quality knows no bounds, including Batman Begins' release date.

But it's not a DC film. Any more than a movie about an alien coming from a planet of hybrid human/arachnid people, thus dubbed "Spider-Man", would be a Marvel film. (I hope.)
