Which of the New 52 will you be sticking with?

2. They were a good team on GLC, so it's not surprising they're a good team on B&R once they found their groove. You don't even enter into the equation.

Batman & Robin is the best bat book around right now if you ask me. Anyway I dropped the Firestorm book. Keeping the monthlies in my sig plus mini's these bastards released knowing people like me would be interested in them (My Greatest Adventure, Legion: Secret Origin).

Oh and overall month 2 consensus is: The Dark line of books is still the most solid one.

Update from this week's books:

Keeping
Aquaman - Still my favorite of the New 52. I'm in love with this book.

the Flash - This book is just utterly brilliant with beautiful artwork and great storytelling. I was initially afraid that this wouldn't have worked out but it does. Two issues in and I'm liking Manapul and Buccellato's take on Barry Allen more than Johns'.

Green Lantern: New Guardians - Kyle being the master of all the rings is just so freaking awesome.

I, Vampire - Evil vampires seeing themselves as freedom fighters is awesome. I love the tension between Andrew and Mary. I love how evil Mary is. I love how Andrew is fighting against his kind. I just really love this book. Which is a shock to me considering how I dismissed it as some Twilight ripoff when it was announced.

Superman - Not even being considered for dropping due to Superman being in the 200+ club. Very wordy, and not as good as Action Comics, but I'm really liking this book. Sad to see Perez leaving.

Teen Titans - This book ****ing blows .

On the Fence
the Savage Hawkman - This book is just alright. Unlike other books where the quality has improved with the second issue, it has just stayed the same here which isn't a good thing IMO. The art is horrendous as well. I'm leaning towards dropping this book.

Dropping
the Fury of Firestorm: The Nuclear Men - The second issue was much better than the first one, but I still hate the premise of this book. It's just god awful. DC should have gone with Brian Clevinger's pitch.

Justice League Dark - This book is just the very definition of mehtastic.

I have a standard of a collection of books that reaches above 200+ issues don't get dropped (Superman, Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Teen Titans). Teen Titans exceeds that with my collection about to enter 300 issues.

Everything else is fair game.

I mean, it was good, but nothing about it really makes me want to read more.

Yeah, the love story at the center of the whole thing isn't even as irritating as they usually are in vampire fiction. I speculated in the B/T thread that maybe it's because their big, tragic break-up takes place on a literal mound of corpses.

The actual concept/plot/story seems pretty awesome.

I dunno, for me, the actual characters themselves just didn't strike me as all that interesting. Like, I didn't get that feeling of investment that you want to have when you follow an ongoing.

Oh, and also, was the artist one of Jae Lee's art-slaves? It looks similar.

Very similar. I think Sorrentino is good enough to put her own spin on it, though. It's got its own flavor to it. Then again, I haven't actually seen Jae Lee do interiors in quite a while, so maybe they're more similar than I realize. Still, it suits the series really well.
