Who can beat Magneto?

And I rate Thanos as a better villain than Doom.

I read somewhere that Doom is the villain that can beat all of them. They had this countdown of the strongest villains in Wizard Magazine, and Domm was number one. Anyone have that mag?

Actually Doom was number 2. Joker was number 1 which just goes to show how poor a reference Wizard is.
However I do think Doom could take Magneto due to his vastly superior intellect, far better resources and significant magical abilities (second best in the world)

Umm... I repeat. Doom is the second best sorcerer in the world. He's next in line to become the Sorcerer supreme.
And besides when you can manipulate super-science to the degree that Doom can, anti magnetic defenses are hardly a problem. His technology allowed him to steal the power of Galactus for god's sake.

Dr. Doom is actually steeped in magic. As said prior, he's next in line in being Socerer Supreme.

Although I do not know who is Mr. Jip, I have to agree with Mordo.

Unless Doom literally proves his worth as being next-in-line for Sorcerer Supreme, which I most likely will not see, since I do not follow the character.

Mr. Jip was a student of the same master as the ancient one. They mastered immortality together. The ancient one sacrificed his immortality but Jip did not. He is essentially the equal of Strange or very close to it and has superior knowledge of evil magics.

I'm not usually one to defend superman but if he can temporarily contain a mini black hole in the plam of his hands, I think he could break out of a forcefield

Magneto is arguably the most powerful man on Earth. Only a handful of characters could take a majority over him. Erik would destroy Doom in a no prep battle.

lol, dude you jinxed it! 2 days without a single response! that sux...who could beat Magneto....hmmm...how about Havok? If Havok put enough energy into a single energy blast (like when he was only able to kill). Recently it was revealed that Cyclops has never unleashed all of his full power (as reveled in the civil war specials, so maybe he could do it at full power. Kid Vulcan could do it, Hulk if he could get close enough, quicksilver, scarlet witch... Any member of the FF, Thor of the avengers... any other suggestions and or disputes with that list?

A simple EMP would fry Iron Mans armor while Thor can be dragged around by his hammer making it impossible for him to fight. Thors lightning would only increase Magnetos power. Magnetos powers far exceed the strength of the Hulk or Thor and he can simply levitate the Hulk to immobilize him. There is simply nothing the Hulk could ever do to defeat Magneto even if The Hulk himself is not beaten.
