Since Sony has Spider-Man I would use the 10 minute short to debut Spider-Woman. I would have her become part of the grittier section of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Dr. Strange, Man-Thing, Shang-Chi, Power Man & Iron Fist and The Punisher under Marvel Knights Studios.

Spider-Woman could be the SHIELD agent devoted to that section of the MCU.
Fury handles The Avengers
SWORD handle the cosmic stuff
and Jessica Drew handles the street stuff.

Easy, he has no interesting points. Maybe he could guest star in a Spider-Man or DD movie, but it's pretty obvious he's spent for now for another solo shot.

Perhaps ten YEARS down the road. Right now I would advise you, and any others, against holding your breath waiting for a Frank Castle ten minute short.

Do you honestly think Marvel would waste time on The Punisher, or the chartacter deserves one, with their whole stable of un-taped characters? If so, you should seek help ...
