Who Has The Best Quips In The MCU?

Basically who do you find funniest?

Generally speaking, I would say Peter, but in the MCU, probably Stark. He just seems to be written that way more so than the others. Even in Age of Ultron, lines like "He beat me by one second" just show how he always manages to roll with the punches and have a retort or one-liner.

Ah, yes. But that's raw obliviousness. Not intentional joking like the 4 lifted. Granted by bein so oblivious he's hilarious.

In the comics it's Spider-Man, not even close. In the MCU though Peter's a rookie at quips as well as super heroics.

Tony Stark gets my vote.

Stark, Star-Lord and Rocket are all great on this front. Parker is a junior in this aspect but will be learning from the best and hopefully can get to the level of Spidey in the comics asap.

In the MCU it's probably Tony, but only because he's had a massive head start. He had six years of quipping before Star Lord and Rocket showed up, and 8 years before Spidey did. I think they're all pretty close though.

Thor has some great quips in Ragnarok.

As for quips Quill is my favorite.

"I'm distracting you, you big turd blossom."

I feel that Tony Stark just runs his mouth so much, and most of it's nonsense, so the individual quips are hard to separate.

Having said all that Spider Man really shone in Civil War, that's the kind of patter I loved about 80s Spidey.
