Both MTTSH and DanielRPK both retweeted an article that says she’s playing Gwen
 
Sink doesn't dye her hair, so either they will make Gwen a redhead or they will put her in a wig.

Do you want fewer films because the past output has decreased their quality, or do you just not want stuff coming out of Sony because its not in the MCU and don’t see it as legitimate?

Its fine if you’re personally not a fan of the art style/animation and think they’re overrated. That’s your right, even if I, and millions of others, disagree and think they’re objectively very well-made, well crafted films and much better than anything that’s in the MCU, just from a visual, filmmaking and writing standpoint. But, if you think these films should be trashed and stopped being made because of your personal dislike of Sony and the animation style and that everything should be coming out of Marvel Studios, I respectfully disagree. They have as much right to exist as anything made in the MCU. As much as I’m slightly frustrated and annoyed with the whole Sony/Marvel rights issues mess, without it we wouldn’t have gotten films which I and millions of others around the world consider to be excellent, well-made and quality.

Whatever the circumstances, filmmakers should have the freedom to make the thing they want to make, and no one corporation should have complete say over every little creative thing, or else everything just becomes the vision of just a singular individual and the filmmaker’s voice and vision inevitably can get drowned out. I say this as someone who is a fan of the MCU and what it puts out.
 
That MTTSH account loves ragebait/clickbait/engagement bait.

If you say the same thing every time, people drift away and pay less attention to you. If you change your answer every now and then you sustain more attention.

The world should work the opposite way but it doesn't.
 
I’ve been searching up stunt doubles that have worked with both Sadie and Marvel in the past (and others that have not) but haven’t found adequate crumbs on this movie yet. 10 years ago when I used to do this kind of research (like on Star Wars) it was a lot easier as profiles for staff and actors and extras weren’t behind pay walls and stuff.

Director Destin Daniel Cretton has reposted/announced that Tom Holland and Sadie Sink have started filming. There’s some speculation that the photographer is mistaken and that their actual location is actually the principal unit filming in studio or studio backlot and not the streets of Glasgow where second unit/stunt filming has been taking place.

If x happens this is what x means:
  • No change because those in charge don't care to match comics or is original character which is sometimes the case.
  • No change because red haired character.
  • A wig can be any non-red head character. Sadie and her stylist have expressed the desire not to dye her hair, however many zeroes in Spider-Man pay can potentially change ones mind.
  • Blonde (wig or dye) = blonde hair characters (Felicia Hardy, Gwen Stacy)
  • Brown (wig or dye) = brown hair characters
  • Black (wig or dye) = black haired characters

Out of all the rumors going about, Carlie Cooper seems to be the most realistic option. Most fans don't care about Carlie enough if they end up making changes to her. So in that sense she's a good candiate for the filmakers to do whatever they want with her.

I don't think they are gonna cast a redhead to be Gwen or make Sadie dye her hair. And everything points to this not being multiverse related, so Mayday is probably out. Nor is she gonna be another "MJ" for the few that suggested it. Personally I would like her to be Black Cat or Teresa Parker, but I have a feeling Im gonna be disapointed on both of those fronts.

Though now that I type all of this out, MTTSH did say yesterday the reason why scoopers aren't revealing her identity would be because it's a big story spoiler. I call BS on that, but assuming she's right out of all the names I mentioned I could see her being revelaed to be Teresa Parker as a big twist spoiler. So who knows.

those characters are kinda too "deep cut" of references to need to keep secret...
most non-comic reading viewers would have no idea who that is even if they announced it

so, what story lines were they involved with that would be a "Huge spoiler" for people to know she's in it, that they might be using as part of the plot
