If Venom kiled Gwen that would actually make alot of sense.

I wouldn't mind that. Only if it's Ultimate Gwen, as in the "best friend, surrogate brother" type Gwen, not the 616 romantic interest. Mary Jane should be his romantic interest and girlfriend in the trilogy.

If it's done in the third film, it makes it more impactful, and really hits home the type of character Venom is, in that he'd do anything, literally anything, to hurt Peter Parker.

Also, if Gwen is the romantic interest of this trilogy and dies again, it'll be an Uncle Ben situation and become a joke. I don't want to see the same thing again.

Hopefully that be how they do it. And like I pointed out kevin has said they want to use the rich supporting players alot more. As the raimi and webb films barely touched or used many great characters from the mythos.

how about no love interest because they are 15 and don't understand love. Make Harry his BFF to start and they meet/greet fellow students Gwen and MJ along the way. No one falls in love in movie 1.

I'd also like to see no girlfriends in the first movie. Just stuff like crushes and more male-oriented friends. Like in real life.

Personally I doubt we will see him dating in the first film. Going by info kevin has said. For me I do hope we see all differently characters spread thru the mcu appearances for spidey. I really love to see all the guys like liz dally kong and others come in and go after a few films and we bring in others.

I guess my thoughts would be:

High School trilogy
1. Bromance with Harry. Intro Gwen (HS)
2. Bromance triangle with Harry/Gwen (HS)
3. Romance with Gwen. Strained relationship with Harry. Intro MJ. (HS)

College trilogy
4. MJ/Gwen friendship/romance triangle. (Graduation)
5. College, reconnect with Harry. Actively dating Gwen. (college)
6. Gwen dies. MJ supportive. (college)

Young Adult trilogy
7. Dark days. Black suit? Black Cat? (college/drop out?)
8. romance with MJ.
9. marries MJ?

I don't want harry going for peter girl. I personally hope they bring in liz maybe have her dating flash at the start. But over time leave him fall for harry. And we get harry liz relationship from the comics done for once. And then play off mj and gwen with just peter.

So we start off mj is the wild party girl that peter is infatuated with. And doesn't notice gwen really likes him. And we play on that. And then maybe at some point gwen dies. And in time peter does fall for mj. But they have an on and off type of relationship.

So we don't see him just ending with mj at that piint. But could pull in some other girls who come into his life and cause romantic issues like debra, felicia as black cat just liking his spidey side, to carlie cooper and so forth.

Then when he is older ie let's say if tom plays the role for 10 to 12 yrs and over 9 films or more and we see his peter go from 15 to 30ish. We then see at end of his run settling down with mj at that point.

So then we at this point have peter age locked at that 28 to 33 yrs old range. And have a mature adult relationship going on for peter and mj.

yeah i hope it didnt come across that i wanted harry to have a romantic interest in gwen. but when you have three friends and two of those friends become more than friends it makes the triumverate difficult for the third wheel. so harry would maybe turn to drugs or some other outlet? knaw mean?

Ya at least webb we saw romance play out a bit better with peter and gwen. I like to see things develop over timr. And we now have to remember we are not just looking at 3 and done. We could possibly seem other spidey characters and spidey developments spread over multi films and not be 1 and done development on love for example.

That's more of an issue with Dunst, rather than the character or situation.

Dunst played a part, but it was the character as well. Go back and watch em again and maybe you'll see what I mean. The relationship has no basis. They treat it like they're these star crossed lovers who have loved each other since they first met but the truth is they barely even know each other.

I would like a scene where we see Peter helping some pretty girl (maybe Liz) with her school work and he asks her out. She says something like 'ew, no way. I'm like, with Flash'
Flash walks in 'sup puny Parker' and slaps the girl's butt. She giggles and they walk off together as Parker dies inside.

Pesonally, I'd rather save Black Cat as Flash's romantic interest for an Agent Venom spin-off. They made for a pretty good couple. Plus Flash would be more likely to casually overlook her criminal record than Peter would be

I'd much prefer this. He's young and has no time for love wirh balancing school and being Spidey. The formula worked really well in the Raimi movies, but now it's time for a change, and what you just said is something that would work really well. Peter crushing on the girls, but never obtaining until the right story comes along. Let's just give it some time before he actually starts dating. It's closer to life at school and fits in with his own life that we see him pine for awhile.

Yep. Leave out the love story and especially the whole 'will they, won't they' nonsense as we've had that for 5 straight movies. I really like the idea that Peter would simply be enamored with whatever girl happens to be in front of him in that moment. Hints of a possible love arc but never fully develop and keep the audience intrigued. And there should definitely be more than one girl that has his interest or girls that are interested in him. But all this should be kept as a subplot and definitely not part of the main focus of the story.

I agree with this but why just make it the first girl and not add on multiple girls? Peter's luck can play a part in that whenever something may be going his way, he's called off to duty or there's some other kind of interruption. Peter should be shown to gain some confidence and start breaking the HS mold of the cliques--we should see them blend together, lines crossed. Liz can start out thinking Peter is just some loser nerd but then comes to find his smarts and even looks appealing. So she's nice to him. Have Gwen, Betty, and maybe even MJ also in the mix.

Yeah. Felicia should be about the same age or maybe just a year or two older. Not much of a difference so that they can continue to have that lust-type connection and play off one another. Their hero vs thief where they both cross the boundary a little. Leave that USM alone. Never cared for that version of BC.
