Sanman is the villain who probably has the most screentime. But the whole movie builds up to Spidey vs. Venom.

Venom is the main baddie.

And just so you know, Mysterio is NOT in SM3.

Flint Marko is the man who killed Uncle Ben. Not the carjacker from SM1. Flint Marko is the Sandman, who tries to rob a bank, kill Spidey, and rob more banks. Sandman is the main villain. It has already been stated in interviews and such.

Harry Osborn is just Harry Osborn. Not Green Goblin 2 or Hobgoblin. This was stated by Sam Raimi on Saturday night at the Comic-Con. Harry only uses his father's equipment to go after Peter Parker, whom he still blames for his father's murder and everything gone bad in his life. Harry Osborn is the side villain.

Eddie Brock is the rival photojournalist/reporter for the Daily Bugle. Brock hates Spider-Man and Peter Parker. He hates both of them because of: Parker/Spidey stole Gwen from Eddie, he got him fired (in the comics, not sure if it's in the movie) and a whole hell of a lot of other things. When Eddie finds out that Parker and Spidey are one and the same, this only fuels his anger, making him want to "kill Peter Parker". Lucky for Eddie, he finds what is left of the symbiote in the same church that Spider-Man left it...and Brock merges with it to becomes the deadly monster known as Venom. Venom is the final villain.


Sandman is the main. Harry is the side. Venom is the final.

I think Venom will be. Sure, he may not get as much screen time as Sandman, but you can see that movie is justsetting him up. The whole movie really seems to be about corruption - and Venom/Symbiote is exactly that.

You are right in some case.

Anyway, we will see 2-3 scenes with Venom. 1st will be with Brock getting the suit, 2nd will show Brock getting owned by Venom, 3rd will be final battle.

Venom will be the most effective character in this movie, agreed.

But I also think that Grace will show a new Eddie's vision as man, who has problems and is too weak to get what he wants.

That's what the Symbiote makes Peter think, enraging him more, in order to convince him to kill Sandman.

Sandman will be the main human villain that Spidey pursues throughout the movie, but if you look at it in black & white terms, the symbiote is definitely the "bad guy" of this film. Notice I did't say Venom though, he's not the main villain either. Just the final form of it.
