Does the 4th villian have to be super-powered?

what if this is the cliffhanger that everbody wants or thinks will happen?

What if it is setting up a possible 4th movie.

What if the villian is Kletus Cassidy?
No carnage, but we see some black symbiote slither away at the end and hear a maniacal laugh at the end and the laugh warps like the symbiote voice.

i'm gonna add this to my theory.

Yeah I'm thinkin this fourth villian is nothing more than a cameo. Either someone Spidey dispatches quickly at the beginning of the film or part of a montage where symbiote Spidey is fighting crime and going overboard and whatnot.

I'm guessing it'll be someone to laugh at. So yeah, Mysterio played by a comedian or Shocker. Either one will be great to see Spidey quip at and humiliate publically.

This would also leave space for the big time villians to have their... time to shine.

no way.

1 - carnage is too close to venom to be used in 4...or in some lame cliffhanger.

2 - thought it may be exciting for fans to see/hear that ending, these movies are not made only for fans. they're made for the masses. and carnage is that well-know. therefore, people wouldn't get what the big deal was at the end of spidey 3.

Perhaps the fourth villain could be the boomstick wailing Bruce Campbell as Quentin Beck a.k.a Mysterio. Not a big role, just maybe him robbing a bank at the beginning and Spidey comes to break his fishbowl like helmet, than Mysterio runs away. Just a thought.
