I'd have to go with that stupid little rodent on ST:VOY. Neelix. I mean he is probably the most useless character in the entire history of trek. Joins the crew as a guide. Which pretty much amounted to nothing. Ends up as the cook (who wants a rat like that cooking for you anyways?) and 'honorary ambassador' (ie. we had nothing to do with the character, let's give him a stupid job to do).

any other nominees?

Wesley. He's like the Snarf or Orko of Star Trek.

Honorary mentions:

Dr. Katharine Pulaski
Counsellor Troi
Ezri Dax
Tom Paris

No, I liked Troi.:O

For a couple of well proportioned reasons.

Wesley Crusher! He's why I hate the first few seasons of TNG.

Mr. Sulu only because i read his autobiography for a dollar:o

Red shirted Ensigns, destined to die in a horrible way...

Oi! Paris was good until they decided to make him a 20th century freak out of no where. And Ezri was pretty :O Troi was ok until she started talking. Then I had an overwhelming urge to kill that annoying know it all *****

Wesley Crusher
Luwaxana(sp?) Troi
Ezri Dax
Everyone on Voyager except Neelix the doctor and Tom Paris. Man I hated Voyager.
Doctor Pulaski

If I had to say just 1, Luwaxana.

The Borg queen 2.0.
Luwaxana Troy, why Picards didn't just "accidentally" blow her out an air lock I'll never know.
Harry Mudd, again air lock.
TNG Worf. A stiff ass *****ebag. DS9 gave him a fargin reason for being a stiff-assed *****ebag, which TNG viewed as superflous.

Probably my second choice for worst Star Trek character would be everybody in Enterprise. What a crappy show, especially the theme song. Well, I guess there are a few episodes I've seen that are okay at best but overall it's still crappy.

What are you talking about? Her hair and nose were terrible.

you know, she was annoying, on purpose. And I usually zoned out during her episodes. But the episode of DS9 in which she appeared really sold the character, and made me change my mind about her. But most, if not all her TNG appearances were pretty bad. But when she spilled all her beans to Odo when trapped in the elevator, then cradled him in her dress when he melted, it was such a great scene.

same goes for Wesley Crusher. As a wonder kid, he was terrible. But in his three cameo returns to the show after leaving as a regular were great. The epi where he was part of the conspiracy to hide the truth about the training accident was great, and so was his departure with the traveller. But that episode where everybody on the Ent. got addicted to the video game, and was hunting him down was Awesome (he even got to lay ashley judd). Those three really redeemed his early days on the show, and he was still quite young at the time, and could be forgiven for not know that acting is acting like one is not acting.

I would guess he was talking about her big giant boobies. And her nice ass. Seriously, that's when I know a character sucks. When I only like them for their physical atributes :(

I only got into TNG. I've seen few episodes of Voyager, DS9, TOS and Enterprise so based off of that, the worse TNG character is...

Dr. Kate Pulaski. God, I hated her!

I didn't, and never will. Where as Worf's DS9 redemption made him a great character. Luwaxana was still the same buttinsky-b**ch.

The crappy campy BS from the early seasons of TNG can be blamed on Gene Roddenberry. The man had a sublime talent for ruining stories and taking the worst directors he could find. Those first 2 seasons of TNG were full of stinker episodes and baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad acting from the much of the cast (except Patrick Steward, the man has so much talent he could act in a high school play and roxxor my soxxors).

Luwaxana Troi was Troi's mother right?
