General Trek Talk Who is the Worst Star Trek Character EVER?

Luwaxana Troi was Troi's mother right?

Yes.
Also she was meant to be annoying, so it's funny so many are calling the charater out for it.
While Wesley who wasn't meant to be annoying but was, I get having so many votes here! :funny:

Nog - DS9.

Luwaxana Troi - Worst recurring character in the series.

-Every character on Voyager except the Doctor and 7 of 9
-Wesley Crusher
-Lwaxana Troi
-Every character on Enterprise
-Dr Pulaski

Wesley Crusher! He's why I hate the first few seasons of TNG.

Yes, Wesley Crusher, definitely. He was so bad I had blanked him out of my mind when thinking about a bad character until you mentioned him.

Best characters:

Riker
Sisko
Picard
Kirk
Nog
O'Brien
Janeway

Worst
Tilly
Raffi
Jurati
Burnham
Neelix
Georgiou

Dr Phlox deserves "credit" for being the epitome of "Why the Prime Directive can be a complete abomination".

Wesley being the lamest Star Trek character ever is an old meme, sir...

...but it does check out.

Oh wow this hasn’t aged well haha. Tilly is the best!

worst is probably barclay

Everyone in Star Trek Discovery. There's not a single one I like. But best to throw them all into a single show than spread them out across different ones.

Yeah, Wesley always got on my nerves when I tried to watch early TNG.

I would also say Riker. Just boring as ****. And I know you guys will hate me for this, but I always found Data annoying as hell.

I tried DS9 for a while back in the day but the characters did nothing for me. I guess Quark was entertaining but my God, Ferengis are hard to look at. Derm Abrasion T-1000 was also so goofy looking it was distracting.

Didn’t watch much Voyager or Enterprise but what I did see of Enterprise just looked so, so bad. I figured Trek was dead when they greenlit a show starring poor Scott Bakula, who has now appeared on every crappy network and syndicated TV series between 1985 and the present.

I know everyone hates Disco for some reason, but what I have seen of it I like. Melted Candle Face Doug Jones gets on my nerves though.

Bingo. I completely agree with this. I got to say that Burnham is the worst lead character in all of the Star Trek series. To me, STD is just This Is Us in space. It's all about emotions and dealing with childhood tragedies. Everyone is damaged. And Burnham is Space Jesus - she can solve every single problem and clearly the showrunners are trying to push that she is the most important character in all of Trek history. It's awful. And Tilly is way more annoying than Neelix.

The one good thing STD did for me is turn me over to DS9, which I had never watched before. I was so disappointed in the first few episodes of STD and those characters that I gave DS9 a decent shot. I got to say I absolutely love those characters, stories and overall direction.

I think what saves Wesley from being the deepest depths of bad, is. . . while he is something of an Obnoxious Kid Genius, and definitely has shades of Mary Sue? He is *not* always right. He is as often the source of problems as the solution, and ultimately does make mistakes that really do matter. He's not perfect, and isn't treated as perfect by the narrative most of the time, either.
