Who is this X-Men artist?

Can anyone tell me who the artist of this X-Men image is?

I know its small and hard to see, but it feels like its a classic image to me and by someone I should know. It looks like the line up from the 70s and their costumes are 70s too.
Who is the artist? Is it Dave Cockrum?

originally, that cover was drawn by arthur adams. i don't know if the one you posted is just a recolored version or a redrawn version by someone else. try finding a larger picture.

yeah, I think your right. I typed in Arther Adams and X-Men in google and this popped up.

I just got this picture on a shirt at Hot Topic with this picture on it but no name of who the artist was.

Art Adams clearly can't be mistaken for Liefield - - his people all have five fingers on each hand and have feet - - the majority of Rob's people don't.
