So now being 1 episode in.
Is there anyone you think is the one who murdered Jason Blossom?

Obvious answers are his sister, Betty's sister and parents

Or do you think it's someone we haven't been introduce to yet?

I really don't have a clue who it could be.

The only obvious piece of the puzzle right now is that Cheryl lied about what went down that day, so she's the prime suspect, even though I doubt it'll be that simple.

Right now, all I'll say is that, for the longevity of the series (fingers crossed that there is longevity), I heavily doubt it'll be one of the core four (Archie/Jughead/Betty/Veronica). But other than that...

Yes and no. I think the other obvious piece is what happened to Betty's sister and how Jason ruined her life. That's why I said that her sister and parents where also obvious suspects

Cheryl and Jason probably went out on the boat to kill themselves and Cheryl either changed her mind or played Jason.

But didn't they screw up the timeline for what Archie heard though?

Plus Cheryl makes some comment about him being supposed to come back.

I'm guessing we haven't met the killer yet.

^ ok lets take that one further.

Jason was killed before the boat ride. Cheryl loaded him into the boat to find a witches coven in the woods along the river that would help her bring him back.

That coven is headed by Sabrina Spellman?

I think he was intended to be a human sacrifice and Sabrina mercy killed him.

I would be very into this, but I feel like it's going to end up being someone we're already familiar with on the show.

After tonight, I somewhat suspect that Joaquin is setting FP up, but I feel like he's not really relevant enough for that to feel like a big deal.

[blackout]Veronica[/blackout] is crying watching the video in the promo, though either of her parents wouldn't really add up. She is semi-friends with [blackout]Cheryl[/blackout], though, so...?

I think everyone is accusing and setting everyone else up and are thus missing the obvious answer. Polly.

I agree too much has happened for him to be a human sacrifice. However I'm not sure the video in the promo is of Jason's murder.

so i just watched the Preview for ep 12 and well, here's my theory....

looking at the reaction at the end, it looks like Veronica was the most upset, but also Jughead. so its gotta be someone they both know well or can relate to....

what if..... its ETHEL? Veronica tried to help her so much out of guilt from her father's crimes, so theyre kinda close. and then since Ethel is a bit of an outsider, Juggie can kinda relate to her. and remember Ethel is on the book of conquests that Jason kept? i mean maybe something nasty happened even worse than the other girls so she offed him? she was so very helpful to Betty and Veronica when they were trying to get their revenge in one of the eps wasnt she?
