Its a shame that movie didn't take off The Shadow was cool as hell. I have all the radio shows on CD.

I can understand why the movie wasn't a big hit. When I was 12, the target age, I found it extremely boring. Now I am 25 and understand the tone properly, I love the hell out of it.

I think they should have marketed the movie to adults like they did when they re-launched the comics and that movie would have done well.

I wouldn't be surprised if they tried another Shadow movie in the future... you know how Hollywood is: when all else fails, go back to the well.

How? I frickin' loved The Shadow as a kid. :woot:

Though, it's definately one of those movies you watch as a little kid, but when you watch it as a grown-up, you notice a lot of dirty stuff.

For example, when Shadow's fighting one of the warriors in Margo's father's building, they both fall off the edge, the warrior takes Shadow's fall, as he hits a gargoyle. The Shadow says, "Next time you can be on top." :o

You know, I got that when I was a kid. It's not exactly subtle.

Never really cared for the film.
As a kid I did have a 45 record that had two of The Shadow radio broadcast on it. I don't know where I found that thing, but I would love to have it back.

To be honest there was suppose to be a sequel to the movie but they said no after Batman and Robin.:(

I love "The Shadow" movie. Alec Baldwin's greatest role. I wish they'd release a special extra edition on DVD instead of the nothing one it's on now.
