Who thinks Planetary would make a great T.V. series ?

Obviously the stories would have to be expanded upon ( A Lot), but i think Planetary would metaphorically rape sci-fi ongoings such as the X-files, Heroes and Lost. Its also got a dfeinitive plot line which means it would actually be going some where; which is more than i can say for Lost and Heroes. Id love to see Geoffery Rush or Hugh Laurey play Elijah Snow, and Christopher Walkin as Dr. Randall Dowling.

I'm sure they could adapt it well enough, but a lot of chages would have to be made. As it stands, Planetary requires a certain amount of knowledge and understanding of comic books in general that I don't if the mainstream audience would be able to get.

Yeah, it'd be esoteric. If they wanted to be absolutely true to the comic, it'd be pretty expensive, too.

I don't know if that's necessarily the case, I mean e.g. I think the Four would still be pretty great villains even if you don't know that they're actually the Fantastic Four.

Yeah, that's what I mean about fully being able to understand and enjoy the show, if not familiar with the subject matter. Now, The Walking Dead on the other hand would make for a killer show, previous knowledge of zombie flicks or not.

I read recently that one can use Logic to prove that Zombies by nature are impossible. Something to do with them being unconscious and dead, but moving, reacting and interacting, so fourth.
