Weve all spent the last few months, the last few years hell, the last few decades counting down to a Watchmen movie. More often than not, it seemed like a dream to simply hope that one would ever hit theaters. Well, now MTV News is going to make some peoples dreams come true a few weeks early.
Remember that huge, crazy Twilight bash we held a few months ago, the one we called Spoilers? Well, the good news is that it was a huge success, and Spoilers is coming back later this month with an edition focusing on Watchmen and several other upcoming movies.
And if youre a die-hard fan of Rorschach, Silk Spectre, Dr. Manhattan and the others, we want you in the audience that will meet the cast and see the film some three weeks before its March 6th release.
Heres what you need to do: If youre over 18, will be in Los Angeles on February 18th and can attend, post a comment below this article explaining why you are a true Watchmen fanatic. Have you memorized every line in the graphic novel, tattooed Who Watches the Watchmen? on the small of your back, or named your baby The Black Freighter? We want to know.
Well contact the authors of our favorite posts through their MTV accounts (so keep a close eye on that upper-left-hand-corner display that says Mail). Youll need an account to post, so if you dont already have one, please take a few moments to register.
Once we contact you, well confirm your attendance and put your name on the list. Please note that we expect the event to fill up, and once it does well need to turn everyone else away at the door. With the worlds of MTV and Watchmen colliding, it promises to be a very special evening, so what are you waiting for? Get typing!
