Urgh, sorry guys I know you hate the console wars as much as I do but I am curious. Who impressed you the most at e3?

For me it was easily nintendo. So many fresh games, colourful and not all mopey with 30 year old white guys talking like Christian bale plus many suprised. Really all three companies had some great stuff though.

What did you think?

Playstation. Of course, it's all based on personal opinion. I don't really care for the Xbox One game selection so it was never an option for me.

Nintendo in terms of exclusives. If they had kept everything they showed at E3 this year AND added in some multiplatform games, they would've owned the entire industry.

It is a toss up between Nintendo and Microsoft for me. Not quite sure which way I am leaning.

So basically what you are saying is there was only ever going to be one option. :funny:

I can only speak for myself, but I wasn't predetermined to prefer the PS4 games shown over Microsoft's. It's just that the Microsoft exclusives didn't interest me the slightest besides possibly the Halo Collection stuff.

When it comes to overall presentation though, Microsoft was better IMO due to focusing solely on games.

Nintendo won.

Microsoft had a good showing as well though.

Everyone won,All companies and fans!!

Microsoft had a great press conference. Unfortunately I have little to no interest in their first party lineup.

Sony's press conference was weighed down by TV stuff in the middle. Fortunately they had the games to back it up.

Nintendo's showing was strong the whole way through. Zelda Wii U, Captain Toad, Splatoon, Project Steam, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta, Smash Bros., Mario Maker, Kirby, Yoshi, the list goes on and on, and that's not even taking 3DS into account. Nintendo had an incredibly strong lineup, and if you change the question to, "Who's console do you most want to own after this E3?" Then the answer is Nintendo.

Sony. Nintendo would've won if they had a collectible card game to go along with their action figure games. So that the kids have to buy the cards and the action figures to play the games.

I'm with you. I can't really decide, yet. I only watched part of the Nintendo conference (I'll probably watch the rest tonight or tomorrow) but just hearing all of the positive talk, and joy, coming out of people towards Nintendo coming out of it has me convinced it might have won.

I want to say Microsoft, because they went games games games...and then more games.

But, Nintendo seems to have pulled up on the stick and flown over a canyon with the way people had them buried going into E3.

Sony, while I wouldn't have said actually "lost"...didn't win, either. They had a good start, and a good finish. But...man, was the middle slow and boring. And hey, I love comics. I hope to work in comics someday, but having Brian Michael Bendis on stage talking for more than a minute (it seemed like he was there talking for like ten or fifteen minutes) was a mistake. It was like having James Cameron on stage, during that Ubisoft conference some years back, just yapping about how awesome Avatar was going to be. Just seemed like it went too long for the wrong reasons.

I think we can all agree that EA was the loser of E3...right?
