Who had the best showing at E3/Who had the worse

Ok so who had the best showing at E3? Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo.

Personally I was most impressed by Microsoft. XBOX 360 has several games coming out like Halo 3, Gears of War, and Mass Effect. Not to mention games like Assasins creed and Grand Theft Auto 4 coming out for both PS3 and XBOX 360.
I think second has to go to Nintendo. I was really intrigued by the controller and some of the games coming out got me excited. Mario Galaxies, Metroid 3, Zelda, Smash Bros., Red Steel, and Madden 07. I also heard a new final fantasy game and a new resident evil game are coming out exclusivelly for the system. On top of all that you have the ability to download all your favorite old nintendo games as well. I guess what I am trying to say is that I was very impressed.
I think last without question has to be sony. I was very excited after last years E3, seeing games like Killzone and GT. I couldn't wait to see what they would have in store this year. I was suprised to see that it wasn't much. I was really impressed by MGS4 but that was about it. The big shocker was the outragious price especially after seeing a bunch of games that didn't look like they were worth 100 dollars more that XBOX 360 games.

Well that about sums it up.

And " Thread suck " :o

It's true though, Nintendo completely owned E3

Assasins Creed is also coming out for the 360 ? Awesome I might not have to wait for a PS3 Price Drop after all

I've yet to see a reputed gaming source like Gamespot or IGN to confirm Assassin's Creed for the 360.

I'll go against the grain of this board and say that Microsoft had the best showing. Live Anywhere has a greater potential to revolutionise gaming than the Wii controller. Not to mention the fact that Microsoft platforms - the 360 and the PC, scored the highest number of the cumulative "Best of E3" awards from various media outlets in the form of games like Bioshock, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Spore and Crysis. That's a lot more than Nintendo's.

With their own foot collectively up it.

uh....collectively!!!!!!

huh... didn't know Assassin's Creed was coming out for the 360. that was about the last reason I needed to buy the 360.

It's true man. If Bill Gates took a **** on a pile of mexican food and dead cats, you'd be giving it rave reviews in one of your "PS3 is going down" threads.

IT NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME HOW IGNORANT PEOPLE CAN BE ABOUT THIS ISSUE. :down:confused:

I WAS ACTUALLY READY TO GIVE 'SONY' A SECOND CHANCE, AND BUY A 'PS3' AT LAUNCH........UNTIL THEY GAVE ME ABOUT A DOZEN REASONS NOT TO. IF I'M A 'MS' FANBOY, THEN I GUESS I'M NOT A FAITHFUL ONE. I'VE GOT A PIRATED VERSION OF 'XP PRO' ON MY PC, AND ALL MY HOME ELECTRONICS ARE 'SONY'.

I meant as to gaming....

And Microsoft doesn't make TV's:confused:

WELL, LETS SEE THEN.....

I'VE OWNED:

  • SNES
  • N64
  • PS1
  • PS2 (TWICE)
  • XBOX
  • 360

....IN THAT ORDER.

ONLY 33% OF MY "GAMING" HAS BEEN ON A 'MS' PRODUCT. I DON'T EVEN PLAY PC GAMES.

Look, I don't have all the numbers, but I stand by my original statement, whatever it was... for two reasons: 1. I'm never wrong, and 2. see number 1.

KEEP TELLING YOURSELF THAT, CHUCKLES. :marv:

Clearly, I hit a nerve. My job here is done. Good day, gentlemen. :cyclops:

It's pretty much understood that Nintendo had the best showing. I personally judged the exhibition on how much each booth attracted people. And Nintendo was fortunate in having the longest lines in E3 history. That says it all. I mean, whether or not some of us on the internet may not have cared for their showing, it cannot be denied that people were stampeding across the showroom floor to the Nintendo area. By default, that type of anticipation has to be rewarded with "the best showing at E3."

And as for the worst, it is also commonly understood that Sony did the worst.
