that's funny coming from someone like you, who comes into every ps3 related thread and starts something... hypocracy at it's best. congrats.

and for someone, even like me, who has a fairly high end, and fairly new alienware computer, but still cannot come close to being able to play Crysis... i think i would have to spend around $400-$600 to meet the requirements. then, when the next big PC game comes out, i'll have to upgrade something again. maybe not too much, but something.

and sure, maybe Crysis has visuals and functionality beyond Resistance and Killzone 2 (and i stress 'maybe') but it also probably has visuals and functionality beyond Halo 3 and Perfect Dark Zero, Condemned, and whatever other FPS the 360 can throw out any time soon, too... so... harldy a good point, but a subtle attempt to jab at the PS3 none the less. well played.

but, whatever, my only point was this: if someone like me, with a relatively high end PC (i bought it last year for close to $1700) wanted to play Crysis, i would have to spend hundreds of dollars to do so. much like many, many people had to do for Doom 3 and Half Life 2, among many other PC games...

so, you could buy a ps3 for $600 bucks, and then get 6 or 7 years worth of games for it without upgrading (and i don't want to hear about having to upgrade your ps3, because, as many stupid things as sony has done in the last few months, they would not be that dumb) or you can upgrade your PC and play maybe a year's worth of games (which, in the PC gaming world, and for what you just payed to upgrade, and given how many games are going to need those requirements, is really not that many games) which is the stupid thing to do?

Halo 3 isn't even out yet, and we haven't even seen a gameplay vid yet.. so how can you even BEGIN to make up **** like that? Please, if you're going to reference 360 games, at least reference the ones that you can actually materialize proof for.

And the main reason why most people filter into PS3 threads and insult the OP is because.. from what I've seen, every PS3 thread made in this forum is an insult to our intelligence. :down
