Who's Costume Is Better?

These are the two villain costumes that I find are bashed to oblivion, so...

Green Goblin

OR

Dr. Doom

Doom. Although I do like Goblin's as well, that was more because of Dafoe's performance.

While I have no real dislike for the Goblin suit, Doom's was better.

The Doom suit is better; the Goblin costume is fine, although I think they should have modified the mask to make it more expression (however, it is important to acknowledge that the Goblin's comics costume would not have worked under any circumstances).

Doom's suit wins as long as the coat stays closed. That flashy shirt underneath just ruins it for me.

I have to go with doom too. It was close.

I think we all knew it would not be perfect. but it works. Hey I can deal with the changes to his costume if the hardcore fans can deal with the ff's costumes

personally, I liked the 4's costumes as well as Doom's (under the condition mentionned above). Now the way the characters were portrayed on the other hand...

The Goblin. Raimi went with a look I feel suited him. With Doom it's so easy to port the look, as most aspects can still be respected by a modern audience. Not so with the Goblin. Many would consider the getup silly. Considering this was the first Spider-Man film and that so much could have gone wrong, I feel Raimi took a step that I view more creative than horrid. With Doom Story just looked at the source material and tried to freehand the concept with mixed results.

Again, 'in my humble opinion'.

I didnt care for either that much,just for some reason they just didnt spark anything.
Dooms was kindof drab and not eyecatching. Goblins was too out there, mainly the mask. I did'nt think the mask fitted the suit.

I'm going with Doom. The costume was the one thing about him in that movie that kicked ass.

Gotta say, you have some really good points there. And I agree that the Goblin was very well done, with a result that got the original effect across without making him look goofy. He was actually intimidating, which is hard to do with that outfit (although I do think a good chunk of the credit for that goes to Dafoe).

But, as cool as it was, i still gotta give it to Dr. Doom. He was incredible.

Doom's movie costume just reminds me of the crappiness of movie doom. It may be bias or whatever, but I can't help it, so...GG. I've never had the problems most people have had with him.

Doom's costume was actually not a disapointment at all...it was everything else about the character that disapointed.
Goblin's costume was quite a stretch though, but honestly, I can't think of a better to go about it, so I cut it some slack.

Doctor Doom - Wrong character. Right costume.

EDIT:

Though I do have admit I do like the Goblin costume and thought it worked surprisingly well (though a lot of credit for that must go to Mr. Dafoe), it's a far departure from anything remotely resembling the Goblin's comic outfit, and therefore I can't regard it as being "better" than the far more comic-respectful Doom costume.
