Who's the better villian? Kylellax or Hallax?

Who's better looking as Parallax, I wonder. They're doing the dragon teeth stuff a bit too much with Kyle.

And I wonder why a fear being makes the hosts "smile" so much? It makes no sense to me.

Can't we all just agree that Kyle will never be a micron of Hal in any and all his deeds?:csad:

I don't know why we'd all suddenly agree to be totally and utterly wrong, but anything's possible I guess.

Cause smiles are pretty scary on the face of someone trying to kill you.

That's because Kyle's bad is trying to be as bad as Hal's bad. But you never know, it may end up being better! :woot:

If Alan Scott became Parallax, thus making him Allanax, he would blow both Hallax and Kylellax so far out of the water you wouldn't even see where they'd land.

Parallax can't effect the Starheart because its magic is so chaotic. So Alan is one of the best people to go up against Parallax. There is a lot of firepower held up in Alan Scott, I hope a writer comes long that will show that aspect of him again... :(

My bad, my bad. My Parallax history is a little rusty.

Well, let me rephrase. Parallax hasn't been able to effect him yet. If he does - man that will be bad.

BTW - Love your Avatar. USCM rock.

If Parallax ever tried to posess Alan, Alan'd be like "Son, I was in the war," and then cram that bug's head up his own thorax.

Parallax said it tried to "take" Alan during Rebirth, but that his power worked too differently. Why that should make any difference whatsoever, I have no clue.

Because Alan was in The War, and Parallax didn't want his head shoved up his own thorax. Pay attention, dude.

Yeah, weird given that it took over Batman in Rebirth, and his powers are so different they don't even exist...

But anyway, since Johns made it canon that Alan can't be affected by Parallax, why the **** haven't the Earth GLs gotten Alan to help out against the Sinestro Corps? Just sic Alan on Kylellax and let the rest of the GLs focus on the Sinestro Corps members. Simple, especially now that the Guardians have authorized lethal force.

Which, by the way, is another thing that confused me. The Guardians come out of their fortress on Oa and are all ominous and grandiose when they say they've rewritten the Book of Oa (!!!!)... but the only change they specify is that lethal force is authorized against Sinestro Corpsmen. Um... wasn't it specified earlier that the rings' lethal capabilities could be turned on by the Guardians already? What did rewriting the Book of Oa (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) have to do with that?

Also, how did they even rewrite the Book of Oa (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)? Lots and lots of White-Out?

Because that would actually make sense. :cwink:

Thank you.

Personally Hal is a better villian. With Kyle you simply know he's possessed and none of it is his fault. At least with Jordan up until the recon it was all him, and even still he still did crap based on jordans wants. Kylellax is basically mind controlled superman.

Here's another nugget of confusion.

When Hallax couldn't affect Alan, he still tried to attack and said "his heart would be his."

What would be the point? If he can't do anything with the Starheart, why attempt to consume it?

And thankfully we were spared the "let's rip alan's power out and leave him an old husk!" routine for the six millionth time. Which makes no sense anyway since he's supposed to be all starheart. But that's an issue for another day.

Alan's chains didn't seem to do much to Hallax either, he broke 'em like candy. Cripes, what a joke. But I forget, it was about highlighting Kyle and Hal...the Alan appearance was a bone that the lapdogs licked.

And Kylellax still strikes me as silly.

Seriously, Alan was pretty pathetic in Rebirth. That was the only thing I really didn't like at the time, before I thought about it and realized that the whole Parallax thing was ******ed too.

Actually it makes perfect sense. Why would fear terrorize chaos? In a way they're related, since chaos tends to generate fear and uncertainty. At best chaos could care less. Rememer the lords of Order and Chaos? The Chaos lords made Alan their recruit once because they said his essence was chaos. Just like willpower tends to mimic Order (control).

I miss the Lords of Chaos and Order. They made DC's magical side so organized and cool.
