Probably my favourite, and (in my opinion at least) one of the most talented, living vocalists in the world:
MIKE PATTON!!!

In retrospect, I probably should've said "singer/group". Perhaps a mod should make this happen.

Axel Rose
Danzig
P!nk
Bruce Springsteen

Some of my favorites have already been mentioned (Sinatra, Plant, Danzig, Waits), but some others are:

Martin Gore
Maynard James Keenan
Tori Amos
Jack White
Trent Reznor

My favorite singer? I have so many that are my favorites.

To name a few Bruce Dickinson, Russell Allen, Maynard James Keenan, Ronnie James Dio, and Steve Perry.

It's a shame that this thread went 14 posts without his mention.

They're so many great vocalists that someone is going to be left out anyways.

Like I'm surprised no one mentioned Bruce Dickinson, Dio, or Rob Halford. Of course I mentioned them.

My list continues:

Geoff Tate
Tarja Turunen
Roy Khan
Howard Jones
Lajon Witherspoon
Mikael Akerfeldt
Matt Barlow

Heya,

Yeah, I agree. Roy Khan is amazing vocalist, even live.

Paul Rodgers too, who is currently touring with Queen is a helluva a good singer too, IMO.

Tootles,
Ali

Stevie Wonder

David Bowie
Nick Cave
Tom Waits
Thom Yorke
Michael Stipe
