Yeah I know the feeling, that wonderful score gave me goose bumps as well, when it was done on Smallville with Christopher Reeve telling young Clark Kent about his Origin. Priceless ! ! !

I like Superman in general, even though the film looks like crap, with a "Superman" and a Lois Lane who both look like they should still be in high school instead of looking like he's been missing for a couple of years and she's been missing him for the couple of years that have supposedly passed. So to that end I'm going to see if my misgivings about the film are justified.

im goin to superman because when i was a little kid i watch the cartoon not the nineties one but the old 40's- 50's one, my dad got me an old tape(i still have it) and i did my first \S/ drawing on that... ive been a fan since childhood and THATS why im going...

I said almost that exact same thing in another thread and that's pretty much the reason I'm seeing this movie. None of those choices in the poll fit my category. You need to a "nostalgia" option on the poll.

I am not all that big of a Superman fan, but I did see the first two movies. I really liked the character of Lex Luthor, which is why I'm seeing it for Kevin Spacey. I'm also looking forward to the Spider-Man 3 teaser.

It's a mixture of liking the comic book movie genre in general to liking Superman as one of my favorite characters...

I really like watching comic book movies when they stay true to the source material. So far my favorite comic book movies are Batman Begins and Spider-Man 1 and 2. I expect Superman Returns to be my second favorite comic book movie, only behind Batman Begins.
