Excerpt:

Sudden Divorce Syndrome. You won't find it in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, that bible of psychiatric illnesses, but you will find it in life. In a 2004 poll by the AARP, one in four men who were divorces in the previous year said they "never saw it coming." (Only 14 percent of divorced women said they experienced the same unexpected broadside.) And few events in a man's life can be as devastating to his physical, mental, and financial health.

Check link ....ish is UGLY!

i would marry as long as i could get a baby out of it and i wouldn't divorce once there was a baby involved

He's such a romantic...

If I wanted to give money to someone I ****ing hate, I might as well save a few years and just write a check to someone I hate now. That's the thing, I work, I'm a generous person and willing to give absolutely anything and everything to a person I love, hell even people I'm indifferent to. But with an ex-wife, chances are if you're getting divorced, and for me to not make something work, then in all likelihood this is a person I despise abhor and loathe - then I have to pay them, so much for equal rights. **** marriage, I'm sure I'll get suckered in, and it's a frustrating situation.

With that attitude I don't think you should have children.

what I am of the belief that as long as a kid has at least one loving parent they will be fine I would be only to happy to be a single father

Going into a relationship with the sole intention of getting a child out of it is a horrible thing.

Agreed. Do I want kids? Sure, but I have the intention of loving who I'm with.

its better than going into a relationship unprepared for a child and then having one and lets face it when a woman wants a "baby daddy" its fine but just because i want a child rather than a partner as a man its frowned upon sexism much

Any man who gets married, at least in CA, is a f**king fool.
