The wife of an deputy inspector lied when she told cops that she was beaten up by a masked black man outside their home, Clarkstown police said Wednesday.
Tsui Dadamo told police that a black man wearing a bandana around his face roughed her up outside the couple's home on Valentine's Day, several days after husband John Dadamo's tires were slashed at the house.
She was taken to a Rockland County hospital for a psychiatric evaluation and has not, so far, been charged with filing a false report, Clarkstown police said Wednesday.
The NYPD had been investigating whether the alleged beating occurred because of allegations that Dadamo's husband was having an affair with a female NYPD cop, and that friends of the other woman had somehow targeted the wife, sources said.
But Clarkstown police found inconsistencies in the wife's story, and noted that her bruises did not match the severity of the beating she told police she suffered.
She later admitted that the she made up the assault story and that wounds were self-inflicted.
She also admitted that she slashed her husband's tires.

5. Bonnie Sweeten, Pennsylvania 2009
Sweeten was found in Disney World after claiming that she and her daughter were abducted by two Black men.












4. Brian Wells, Pennsylvania, 2003
Pizza deliveryman Brian Wells came to a bank in Erie, Pa. with a bomb locked around his neck. He told police that group of Black men had taken him hostage and put the bomb there. After receiving close to $9,000, the pizza man was blown to bits by the bomb. Police would later find out that Wells was in on the plot with a few of his white friends.






3. Susan Smith, South Carolina, 1994
Susan Smith claimed that a Black guy hijacked her car with her kids in it. She went on TV and received a lot of media attention. She would later admit to rolling her car into a lake, with her children in it. Why? So she could start her life over by marrying a wealthy man without having the burden of her old family.
2. Charles Stuart, Massachusetts, 1989
Charles Stuart shot himself and killed his pregnant wife for insurance money and blamed it a Black man. After the police arrested several Black men on suspicion of being involved in the incident, Stuart’s brother admitted that he was involved his brother’s wife’s killing. Charles Stuart later committed suicide.

This crazy, overweight, young Republican thought it would be a good idea to carve a backwards B on her face and blame it on a Black Barack Obama supporter. Too bad the police investigated her story and found out it was B.S… only after John McCain and Sarah Palin called her and offered her their condolences.

You know I get this is TERRIBLE and really a great injustice, but I have to wonder are you making yourself feel any better about the injustice by (seemingly) finding every case reported?

If by creating awareness that black men are becoming routinely scapegoated in this country then yes. Have you ever been pulled off the street interrogated, forced to give up a confession for a crime you did not do or know nothing about, because somebody lied? I can't be mad at you if that has never happened to you, but sadly its happened to me, and many others like me living in New York and all points in between. You should watch the Katrina killings on You-tube and hopefully you will obtain a better understanding of this silent Hell' that the media refuses to display. Nobody wants to sit in custody worrying about a rape case, or an assault, well especially a rape case. Provided they don't kill you in the holding cell, you have those days in between before your release living in absolute fear of your life. Are you also aware that many of the people released from prison these days due to recent DNA testing are black? I just can't fathom the rage I feel inside over these incidents; added to the fact that a nun ( a representative of God) did the same thing! Welcome the recently discovered secret menu item in Amerikkka;s kitchen! Don't forget to try our new"Some Puerto Rican Guy apple fritters!"

yeah, that is obviously what you are getting at with all of these threads. but I personally have always wondered why you do not just use the one thread for all of these types of incidents, you only posted that one about the nun the other week. and you have been doing this regularly for a long while now.
Surely for the sakes of tidiness on the site, and to have a concise ongoing discussion about these incidents, in whatever fashion you think that should take, a single thread would be the best idea. Because the way you are doing it comes across like you are wanting to come in like the town crier every week, banging your gavel for attention and shouting out about these things.

edit: dude, i know you are sincere and passionate about injustices such as this, but there are a lot of people in the world who get a kick out of being outraged, and love the attention it gives them as looking 'worthy', so it could look like that is what you are doing with all of these red faced wall banging thread headlines. Or some people start out sincere, but then start to get a kick out of being outraged and like the media attention, there are pundits like that here in the UK. And you do not want to end up like that. One thread would be more organised and the ongoing discussion, on all reports, would probably benefit.

This will never stop. Black men will always be a scapegoat in this country. Sad but true. I've had police stop me and say I fit the description of someone they are looking for. My response was I fit the description of EVERYONE they are looking for! I was a teenager then though so I was a little mouthy to authority figures.
