Wii launch and some questions

Forgive my noobness, but I am not a huge nintendo fan...I brought the gamecube and got burned, as aside from resident evil series and eternal darkness, none of the other games interested me in the slightest.

So my relationship with wii is tenuous at best, and I know very little about it aside from the basics and that it could be worth a buy (the excitement about its very own re was almost enough).

But does anyone know the full or almost full complete list of launch titles?
and does anyone know a price/date for the uk release?

and about sadness.....can anyone tell me more about this? all i know about it is it has werewolves.

In answer to your 'price/date' questions, Nintendo is holding some events this week worldwide that promise major information. They appear to still be on for a worldwide launch as well, so UK dates will match US dates.

27 titles are promised at launch (third party and exclusives) as well as 26 VC titles... making this the biggest launch from Nintendo (or, I think any console) ever. wikipedia has an in depth look at the launch titles... but again, more will probably be detailed in the Nintendo events this week.
